I'd buy an Armada Prime, Jetfire and Overload. Armada Megatron and Tidal Wave too. Hoping all keep there respective combinations. I'd take an Energon Prime and Wingsaber as well. Wouldn't mind a Rodimus and Prowl either. Of all the shirt/pants combiners, I liked that combo the best. I kinda fell off the tf bandwagon around Cybertron so I'd probably skip any designs from that show.
I suppose doing a Armada Optimus+Before+ Overload some would like to see. Best part is all of the toys can get repurposed into other toys. Armada Jetfire can get repurposed into Victory Shuttle. Armada Overload can get repurposed into Godbomber. Generations Selects Energon Ultra Magnus. Think Armada Optimus can getbreculptef into Energon Optimus. Then Resculpted into Cybertron Optimus.
Armada Prime would not work going to Cybertron Prime, even to Energon the transformation is too different in the chest area. Energon Prime COULD maybe work but that’d have to be extremely heavy of a retool. Why not just make a new mold at that point? Just go default and do Nemesis versions to fill the repaint category for Energon and Cybertron. Cybertron is unlikely anyway due to Siege Galaxy Prime being a recent thing.
The cab bots would be the easiest to get resculpted into Armada, Energon and Cybertron Optimus. All Three toys would require There different trailers. As these would be the hardest to resculpt into all Three AEC versions. Perhaps for Energon, they don,'t need to have that trailer. Perhaps Just include the 4 drones. Perhaps do something new where the 4 drones snap together to form a trailer for Optimus.
Hasbro can get some great ideas from the UT, but they have 7 remakes staring at them with the 6 RiD2001 Spychangers for the deluxe line along with Daytonus. The Siege Smokescreen/Prowl/Barricade mold has its issues and detractors, but I would buy a Daytonus in that mold. I think some of the CW figures could be retooled for some of the others along with the Siege Sideswipe/Red Alert mold. For the UT line, would you want the mini-con, powerlink, and/or cyberkey gimmicks on remolds? Remember, it will cost more. Personally, I would not mind the mini-cons and powerlink gimmicks. I am vanilla on cyberkeys. Anyways, give me: Armada Jetfire Armada Wheeljack Armada Optimus Superduperpants Armada Scavenger Armada Cyclonus and Demolisher Energon Optimus and Megatron Energon Inferno/Roadblock (I loved the power link feature) Energon Rodimus Energon Downshift Energon Snowcat Energon Landmine All the scout class Energons figures like Strongarm, Skyblast, Cruellock. I'd go for that Generations Selects Armada Prime that never happened, in the black and red colors. I actually enjoyed the Armada demolishor mode in its day, would like to see an update with better articulation for the gun fingers and arms, and to somehow secure the minicon to the front of the alt mode so it doesn't pop off every time you look at it.
I'd be fine with the Planet Keys only as display piece accessories, like the Golden Disks in the Kingdom line. Same for the Mini-Cons too probably, just sell them at core class. No real attachment to Energon's Super-link gimmick.
I have some real nostalgia for some of those designs. Let me also say if they do, I hope they give us some Minicon packs, too. Although the quandry there is that most of my favorite Minis were Partner minis rather than the ones out of the packs. But I dunno if Hasbro would give us packins of guys like Leader-1, Sparkplug, ect. Of the big bots, I would like to see: Armada-- -Optimus -Megatron -Cyclonus -Blurr -Tidal Wave Energon- -Rodimus -Snowcat -Landmine Cybertron-- -Red Alert -Starscream -Brakedown -Crumplezone -Shortround -Sideways -Scourge -Leobreaker
I think that the cyber planet keys would work fine as 5mm port accessories. Energon powerlinxing can just not happen. Minicons can work the same as WFC micromasters with the fold out pegs
I honestly would prefer Walmart just reissue some AEC toys. Similar to how Walmart is reissuing some G-1 and BW toys. With Legacy creating toys made out of yellowing plastic. Flimsly hollow plastic.and wrong size classes. I would prefer no AEC toys get updated into Legacy.
Think it would be cool if Legacy takes the Haslab Unicron toy. Then sells it in Armara Unicron toy colors for around the price of $149.99.
No. just.. no. Go on eBay and buy them if you want the originals. They’re a mixed bag, but most are outdated engineering wise. I want updated versions of them.
