I think this would be reissue 3 or 4? I'd be all for it. I'm not much into the DK deco but I'd certainly love another Monstructor to display in bot modes.

We will be waiting forever. I watched that thing on bbts and tfsource for what seemed like 4 straight years. Never put on the black Friday deals even though others did. Never dropped price a single dollar and stayed at the $350ish range the whole time.

 

No Monstructor planned. Already reissued.

Are you referring to the giant axe with red blades? It's from the first release set and I believe it comes with the main torso figure.

 

I have Dinoking with the shells and their Monstructor. Out of the both, I think Monstructor just looks better even if they are repaints.

 

When was Monstructor re-issued as if so I completely missed it, been trying to lay my hands on one for a while

 

He wasn't. Dino king version just got a reissue. Beastructor was likely found stock bbts bought and sold from an Asian distributor.

 

I think run 2 was 2020. Preorders and all. I don't shop BBTS so I can't account for whatever is being posted about with stock.

Edit: Looked through my orders and May 2020 was the release date for the reissue. April 2018 was the original release stateside.

 

Still going to hope for a 3rd run at some point because I definitely missed out on the first two runs....

Folks were hyping these shells on the other page and I still can't help but to feel they're just... junk.

 

But you make them look SO GOOD!

 

But they’re so cute! Though my brontosaurus’ paint is fading in some areas.

 

I dunno what made me buy this. I maybe wanted a monstructor since I had one as a kid. Anyway, he's not terrible, but he takes a good bit of work out of the box. I still haven't gotten the peg on the back to line up into the upper bot, but the two central pillars are in together as far as they'll go, and it's too fiddly to squeeze together any harder.



Forgive the poses... I was trying to snap some pics before any of them fell over and shattered on my concrete floors lol. I stuck some rubber feet on DK and re-did the ones on Lio Kaiser, cuz there's no way either of them would stay put otherwise. Swapped his legs, popped out the monster heads.

 

I went ahead and bought the set through TFSource since its 40% off and the source point incentive is there. Too bad it wasn't Monstructor.
