They're not going to be out before the Hasbro releases.

I imagine if we ever get a Classics/HenKei Sunstorm, it would be released by Hasbro, not Takara.

    Come on E-hobby!

I would either like a Sunstorm, or the Rainmaker 3-pack.

It was hinted at there maybe a 'clone seeker' figurepack on that Omega Supreme head remold magazine ad.

Looking at the prototype photos on Hasbro's website and seeing the picture on the back of Prowl's packing. I would hope that the U.S. release has the straight light bar instead of the V shaped one shown on the figure. I would also like to see a Sunstorm but he is not hight on my repaint list. Smokescreen, Bluestreak, and a corrected Cliffjumper I would like to see first.

I also would love a Sunstorm Classics figure. That would be all kinds of awesome.

I'd like a Three-Pack of the second picture. This way, we get Sunstorm, of whom alot of people want, Purple Flame Thrower dude, who isplain awesome, and "Thundercracker", nuff said. But NOT from E-Hobby. I'd actually like to purchase it without selling a kidney.

This Prowl looks sweet. I'm getting it!
Really new so let me get this straight:

    1) The US "classics" line is now called "Universe". And some are going to be released as well...classics, but also some are going to be related to the movie?
Q1: Is the movie line going to be chopped (until the next movie), or is it still going to continue?
Q2: How long is the "classics/universe" line going to continue? US and Japan.

    1) Not quite. They're realistic vehicles, in the vein of the movie, but they're all G1 character homages (so far) with G1 robot styles.

Q1: The movie line is going to end once the last few Premium Series repaint waves finish up (and the last few Allspark waves) - so it'll be done in a month or so. Animated is going to take over as the main toyline, and Universe as the backup line for fans of a more realistic style. The movie line will probably return in 2009 once Transformers 2 comes out.
Q2: Universe will probably go until the next movie line at least. Beyond that, who knows? As for Henkei, it's completely unknown how much longer it will go on.

I honestly doubt Hasbro would ever release Sunstorm in Universe, maybe as a TFCC exclusive, or Botcon something, but not at retail.

The retaliation from Anti-botcon 07 enthusiasts alone would be enough to consume the majority of my town...
