Hasbro secretly wants to ruin everyone's lives and couldn't allow themselves to be one-upped by Takara so they "forced them" to terminate Takara's secret project Operation: Mircon Legend.

Netflix Soundwave really isn't tied up with Wal-Mart. Hasbro just wants the people who already have it to feel even more elite being the only ones who own it and will never reissue it and are hoping that people will eventually forget about it when they make even more limited and exclusive versions of Soundwave in the future.

Hasbro clearly hates their fandom and wants us all to suffer. Takara loves us and wants to give us wonderful gifts but Hasbro won't let them and threatens to give Takara's CEO massive swirley's in the bathroom and bully him at the office if Takara doesn't comply.

 

Honestly Metroplex gives me a lot more hope for varied and more accurate Japanese original characters. Just wish that applied to Prime characters

 

I empathize with this completely.

 

I mean Metro ain't even "Japan original", UT was a complete duo work, Archer and hasbro had just as much a hand in those characters as the Takara side. If anything, how well crafted Victory Saber was and the rumored Deathsaurus next year would be the best indication for Japanese originals. Or, you know, all of the Diaclone figures and most of the G1 toys in general

 

This. I have loved almost all the Beast Wars updates, but Dragon Megs has me nervous. I'm cautiously optimistic.

 

Me too, but I’m hoping he’s as accurate as the other updates. I really don’t want him to not be a TM2

 

I'm really anticipating how dragon megs turns out(assuming its tm2), I wouldn't mind if he was as big if not a little bigger than the 86 dinobots. Ultimately unless they decide to just make him scale with his other bw forms I feel this will need more budget than any wfc or ss86 leaders or be sent to the scooping room

Edit: thinking of it if they keep the transformation simple it would help. Maybe the dragon chest could work like bumblebee soundwave's back(except this time with the front of the body) where it hinges down then 180 with the stomach and arms contained inside

 

Transmetal II Megatron

I don't think TM2 Megatron will be fully organic but he probably won't have those vacuum-metalised parts. But yeah I'm hoping it's fully accurate as Tarantulas was very accurate too.
He needs to have his dragster mode as well!

 

Actually I agree with you.
He'll probably be show-accurate robot mode and organic beast mode. In the show nothing about him looked transmetal/cyborg really other than the chest area (I'm not talking about BM).

 

The wings were pretty TM2 in that they were a monstrous mashup of technology and organics. (Which I personally adore)

I haven’t even considered TM II Megatron’s “tertiary” mode! Now that it’s mentioned, I really hope there’s at least an attempt at it with this update; all it really needs are tiny little wheels on the hips and heels. All the joints the original uses to get in that mode are already there for transformation to bot mode

 

I was kind of hoping to sidestep the idea of "UT and RiD 2001 updates are just G1 designs with a lot more wild flair", but sure.

 

Why is it taking so long to get leaks for next year?

Because, last year Hasbro clamped down on the internal leaks including the wider retail supply chain purchasing leads and with those on here (plus other forums) who were connected (even by proxy) to their design and commercial teams.

Hasbro commercial do frequent this and other licensed collectable genre forums. Members often think Hasbro are inept or incompetent but it is the complete opposite.

They mapped the info flow perfectly.

There are very few accidental or incidental leaks now. Early leaks and info are built into their comms prism strategy.

 

Do we have any believable leaks on the final shattered glass figure? I know specialisation l speculation is leaning to Metroplex, with no understanding of which one, but I figured I'd check in on anyone having the right idea

 

No leaks as far as I'm aware, but speculation also includes the Omega Sentinel figure that was seen on a designers computer screen. Main reason for this speculation is we know that figure is actually planned and would they really release 3 titans in one year?

 

Then again, they put Black Zarak for preorder last year. If the timeframe’s correct and the SG Titan is the last reveal, it’s likely that their release date will be 2023.
