Friend in China sent a short blurb. I will look for confirmation (since their weibo hasn't been updated since 2020):

"Civil warrior CW-01 擎天OP柱 内战英雄General Grantr 格兰特,再版零售价399元预定好价哦,喜欢的快上车"

Google: Civil warrior CW-01 Optimus OP pillar Civil war hero General Grantr Grant, reprint retail price of 399 yuan, book a good price, if you like it, get on the bus

Emphasis mine: reprint = reissue, doesn't seem to be a stock clearance

Reprint/reissue doesn't necessarily mean the company is still alive, unfortunately. The moulds would still exist, and someone else could easily be using them without any involvement from the original team. Wouldn't even be out of the question for the factory which did the original runs to just be doing them on their own - same thing happened to XTB fairly recently.

But there's still that glimmer of hope, too. Maybe they've managed to regroup after being undone by Covid early on.

    Ebay:
That's $60 USD. Pretty cheap even without shipping.

This thing is a contender for my fav transforming O.P. ever. If it's REALLY that cheap I'll be buying a 2nd and possibly a 3rd.

The one I got secondhand had a couple of small dings in it, but it still hasn't left my display shelf since I got it. It's such a strong first effort, I just wish they'd taken a second pass at the hands.

Search phrase: "civil warrior cw-01" or "再版 Civil warrior CW-01擎天"

New listings in Taobao that specifically include the phrase "reprint" for 30 yuan deposit and the 399 pricing in the description. Existing older listings with number of units sold were priced at 499.

Judging from the local sellers in my country, it seems sellers are told to get a minimum order quantity for a firm commitment before fulfillment by the factory.

Any robot mode comparisons with the ROTF Jetwing Optimus from Amazon?

Final price at showz before it sold out in the initial release was $124. I'll wait to see if they sell him again

would love to get a 2nd copy. I wish I known better but coming back to collecting after 10+ years. I made the mistake of buying this guy from over priced TF source for $175 SMH. Love this figure though. Definitely would get a 2nd copy to keep in box in case I break the one i have now.

Just picked one up from a board member here. He's weighty and awesome! (The toy, not the board member. Although he might be those things too, I can't say.)

Biggest nitpick: the hands are really fiddly. Great articulation on all fingers, but maybe too many joints. And the fingers are long and skinny.

(Dis)Honorable mention: the matrix doors on his chest are too far apart from each other, big gap between them.

Solidly built overall, though, and looks fantastic.

I get what you're saying but wouldn't you want to know? Not like he can do much about it unfortunately
