It's luck of the draw aka you're screwed on some figs and okay in others. I experienced it with: 1. Original BigConvoy. His red transparent L socket that connects to the shoulder. Mine broke off for no reason. Didn't even carry anything. 2. RID Prowl (the blue color one) on his ball socket door 3. Re-issue Takara(not clear plastic)Godginrai set. The cab part's feet just broke during transformation. 4. Takara SL Convoy(the one that double links). Again with the foot part connection. 5. Supercon Optimus Prime's targetmaster Overrun. Mine broke for no reason. Iirc, it had clear parts.
I may end up putting my two Diaclone Reboot figures on display with the WFC/Legacy Diaclone repaints (Big Powered and Diabattles). After adding Delta Magnus, they'll be a nice alternate team of Transformers. It'd be kind of cool if they are a team of Autobots sent to Earth to try to find The Ark but become embroiled in a secret battle helping humans fight an invasion of Waruders. The Autobots share their tech in which bots like Big Powered and Diabattles are created. They succeed but the Waruders have the last laugh after leaving behind a viral program that infects Cybertronians. All of these Autobots die and so does the Diaclone tech except for Delta Magnus, who is able to shed his armor before he is infected - thus Optimus and the crew don't even realize this secret war ever happened. Delta Magnus seals himself away from the world in order to ensure Optimus and his crew don't become infected whenever they awaken. But one day in the future, he'll be summoned once again - but his armor has been corrupted due to the virus over time and donning it now changes him into a weapon of chaos. Ratchet scrambles to find a cure for Delta as Ultra Magnus decides it's up to him to stop his brother from destroying the world...while trying to avoid being infected himself.
The Legends Target Masters look better and offer a lot more variety (as far as deco and gun choices). They do not fit together in gun mode nearly as well though and are harder to stand. The WFC ones have a nice feel to them in both modes. I wish they were a little more detailed as far as paint job (probably can't paint anything on them other than the torso) and had more gun barrel options. Everyone of them is double barreled being being redecos of basically Blowpipe and Firedrive.
I watched the video and it's a great mold (easily one of the best from Titans Return) just wish it was in the original Transformers colors instead of diaclone. If Hasbro had just re-issued the figure with the only change being the Wreckers logo it would be an instant pre-order for me. As is I'm passing on this.
Fortunately for Hasbro, I’m the opposite. I have the originals (and legends) so I’m buying this BECAUSE it’s Diaclone colors.
Nope. They will have the Diaclone colors but still have their names. They also have the Wreckers symbols also.
OK. Thnx. I was afraid my Google-fu was weak and I just couldn't find the listing. Is there a date yet or did they give the standard "it will go up some time early this year"? EDIT: OH! not revealed yet. Meaning they haven't said anything about it like at all.
I hope Springer follows the Galvatron example and is a beautiful, no damage, G1 toon accurate version
