My collecting has careened into an almost full-stop. Still doing the occasional mold but it's about 10-20% of what it used to be.

On the one hand that's great because I got royally screwed by the IRS this year. I owe about 4K and that's more than my yearly budget for TFs.

On the other hand, do I really need a 45th optimus truck? I mean, sometimes yes but the question has a lot more weight on it now than back in the walmart $7.77-Deluxes days.

On the fourth hand, I've been getting into upgrade kits a lot more so I can make a nice existing figure into a way nicer one.

On the seventh foot, one of these days I'll learn myself the Dark Arts of 3D printing and come up with neato-designs and you guys will be my guinea-pigs focus group for 'em, whad'ya say?

    Till all are One-Dollar clearanced!

I also scaled back my collecting inside my imagination. And then bought all of the Kingdom beast wars show characters, most of the G1 characters, Legacy Bulkhead and most of the deluxes, Origins BB….I have no self control.

That is one of the only ones I have seriously considered picking up. Looks a lot better with the added height. I did 3D print the feet for core class Soundwave and the longer wings for seige wheeljack tho.

I only just got into the hobby, so I'm still getting my first go at characters. But I find myself getting more and more niche characters. Like I started with just Beast Wars. Then I got the Netflix Optimus Prime. So I guess I'm getting G1. But just the G1 cartoon characters. And Gigawatt because who doesn't like Back to the Future. But that's it. Oh Iguanus is really cool. So I'll get him. But just him. Also Jhiaxus is really cool, and a really important G2 character. So I gotta get him right?

    ...help.

Last night saw a kingdom megs someone returned for 32$ near clearance. Didn't buy him though so he might still be there. At Bridgeton Walmart.

Brother that sucks. I love peanuts -- chunky, smooth, boiled, spicy, kung-pao'd, you name it. Food allergies are the worst :(  . My admiration to you and your daughter, peanut-free would be a great sadness to me but anaphylaxis is way worse.

Back on-topic, gonna look at target on my way back from work. Hoping to score a drag strip if I'm lucky. Between that and Bulkie I'm done until next wave.

I have the same kit, but for Siege Magnus & Galaxy Force Prime and they made a big difference. The DNA kits are usually worth getting. It made my MP Ironhide actually live up to the "masterpiece" namesake.

Florissant walmart has their planogram up but I didn't see any legacy figures in their overstock or on pallets. The Ferguson walmart has one Legacy Blaster but the pegs are choc-full of Paleotrexes and Wingfingers (if you wanna make a lovely, horrible abomination) so I wonder if he was a return or something.

I know a lot of people gripe about the leg clips on the DNA kit but it's not a deal breaker for me for the rest it does accomplish.

So I lied. Took me over an hour to get thru traffic in the rain, did not stop by target as intended. If anyone does spot a dragstrip in StL lemme know. I already ordered the head and arm fillers for it in anticipation of getting one.
