TCP Customer Service

    Anyone here having issues with TCP not providing satisfactory Customer Service. I Bought a Pumpkin Unicron from them during TFCon LA and they forgot to give me the additional box that has the Head and Rings. Ofcourse I did Not know I was suppose to get this additional box. Got things home and Opened it up about 2 weeks later and bam...no Head or Rings. Contacted them but all I get is "We will let you know." It's been almost 2 weeks and No further info or replies. TCP is 1 of my go to Venders, Not so sure anymore. The worst part is They know who I am and when I bought the item, we were all chatting for about 20 mins about TCP implementing a VIP Membership...

    You're not alone in being put on hold when trying to get them to fix an issue. People have waited months for replacement parts or missing parts. They're good people and mean well, but they are no longer my go-to. I hate to say it, but it's true. I'll say something fair in defense of them, however. My virtual card got hit at TFSource, and I've never had that happen at The Chosen Prime and they do finally come through after a long, dry spell, so there's that.

    My time one experience dealing with TCP customer service was less than ideal. That is to say that it failed to meet reasonable expectations. So the story is I had submitted an email for a replacement piece through their contact us customer service email from their website. Normally when I do this I will receive an auto reply email saying my email was received. No email was received. Days went by and I decided to call them up. Someone answered with a simple "hello". If this was business shouldn't they have said " Thank you for The Chosen Prime my name is..." So I asked is this The Chosen Prime. The man on the other end said "Yes it is". I said "Who am I speaking with? He said Brandon. So the owner of the business answers the phone in an unprofessional manner. Even if he was a one man operation working out of his own house he should still have a separate business line and answer the phone professionally. Anyway I tell Brandon what my issue and he says he thinks he has a replacement piece. So a few days has passed, I call back same unprofessional greeting. Brandon says he has the piece and will mail it out the next day. He texts me a photo of the replacement piece again saying it will mailed out tomorrow. Five days go by no piece. Which would be unusual considering the Mesa AZ and Peoria AZ are 45 minutes apart. I text Brandon back saying I never got it and he says he will check on it. Two days later I get an email from TCP that it shipped. One would think that it was not mailed out when he promised it would be. Two days after the email the part arrived. I think two weeks had passed since I sent my email via their website to the part arriving. Not the worst experience I had by far but from the lack of an auto reply to the owner unprofessional phone greeting to the part not being mailed when he said it was left me with a lot of uncertainly.

    Looks like it's Business as usual for Them...Iv had several issues with BBTS and Show Z and all were dealt with and Corrected within a week's time. Ofcourse I buy too much of this Shi...LOL. Thank you both for the replies and yes for now on TCP will no longer be my Go To. You would think 1 item out of 10 puchases needs service and it should be prompt and satisfactory but Nope.

    It would be one thing if this was $15-20 or so. Anything mass-produced like that is prone to have mistakes, but this is a $400+ "artisan" collectors piece that *they* knew came in two boxes. It's on them to fix this and know all of this, not you.

    Their non-committal answer is infuriating. I'm surprised they haven't made a response here. They used to address customers who posted things like this. Seeing that they haven't gives me pause about using them at all in the future.

    The Sad thing is that, Brandon, Kim, Scott, and a couple others, we were hanging out at TCP booth chatting about what I purchased from TCP that weekend (1k+), and they offering me a Taco but I declined...then they offered me a Tshirt and couldn't decline that.
    Now, They just ignore my emails and replies...

    I buy so much form them over the years that when Brandon asked, what's your name. Brent, my name is Brent. Kim turned around and said, Brent from Clovis, I replied yep. Brandon asked Kim, you know him, Kim said...yes he buys stuff every week...Everyone Laughed, well Brent make yourself at home around the Crew, here's a Taco. All is good til something goes wrong. CS is priority in Sales, I know I run 2 Businesses. I still believe They are good People and they run a Great Shop...but now I'm just Disappointed.

    I've had to reach out to them about every order I've placed with them. Consistent issues with shipping, damage, their rewards system, and just about anything else you can think of. I have never once had a smooth purchase from them, I'm definitely done ordering from them.

    Am I alone on this?

    Honesty, TCP is done in my book...They just chose to Ignore me. As a Business, when you start to Rip off your Customers, your time is limited. I will Never buy from TCP again, and to anyone else looking to buy from TCP, be ware of the Customer Service Neglect.

    Huh. They said in another thread they chased you down in the convention center and got your missing pieces to you.

    I told them to take it up with you because they were basically calling me a liar for pointing out your situation.

    So, makes me wonder... Were there two cases of something happening at the convention? Because wow.

    It must be happening to others too, because if I got my peice...why would I be here, Hoping for a response and I did Tag them, as one of our members said. Of course, I have the emails I sent to them and got no more answers back. They know who I am, I hate to call this out but TCP did me Wrong. I even said in 1 of my emails, "I will pay for shipping."

    Yeah I had a bad experience with TCP with an issue with a 3rd party figure. Ill never buy from them again. As much crap as TFSource gets they always been on point with me for issues. I just stick to TFSource or BBTS.
