So? They don't need to match. Just like figures don't need to replicate the cartoon. Looking at you, Menasor.
I'm just glad I finally get a chance to get Twintwist after how hard he was to get in TR. Diaclone homage is an awesome bonus (though I'd love a Selects two pack of straight TR reissues at some point for the Transformers colors). It also just reminds me how TR was my favorite of the Prime Wars line and how fun most of the figures were.
They are a duo. Having one be in Saltman colors, and the other in Daiclone wouldn’t work, would it? Tospin and Twintwist are the same colorscheme already, just inverted.
The blue+light blue color scheme I mentioned is from Diaclone. (Picture from @allew's Jumpstarter history thread) The one on the far left.
The Legends Targetmasters are considerably more fragile due to the extra joints in addition to clear plastic and don't hold together as well in weapon modes (and before you say anything, I have all of the Autobot Targetmasters from Legends and all but 3 or 4 of the WFC Battlemasters).
All mine hold together fine. I have 2 Decepticon and two autoboot one and they hold up just fine. Everybody says ish about clear plastics but actually it's the opposite
I didn't know they had the 3P version in Diaclone colors. I had the OG colors set and I loved it. I sold them prematurely but I have the TR versions. I still miss them though...
Yeah, the Legends Targetmasters are so damned floppy compared to the WFC Battlemasters. The Battlemasters will never leave their weapon modes unless you want them to. The Legends Targetmasters come apart just trying to fit them into their partners' hands, and you have to realign everything after. They're pretty annoying.
The yellow one with the visor from Wreckers: Tread and Circuits. (Can’t find a pic right now, sorry.)
Guess I was lucky. My legends target masters have no problem at all. True it wouldve been nice if the hands could tab in and their transformation is a bit fiddly, but their articulation and paint job makes them superior compared to the seige ones imo.
Yeah, mine are fine too. The pegging together issue is a little annoying but future seemed to help. They just look a lot better.
My Legends Firebolt is mismolded and the cavity where the legs are supposed to plug in in gun mode is filled in, so that one can't even go into it's gun mode properly.
You called them a floppy mess. Which mine aren't. I do agree that an extra tab would secure the gun mode better, but it's not needed because mine hold up well by fiction...
I meant the clear plastic hasn’t been an issue in regards to breakage and they’re not floppy any more than other figures.
I got a few of my posts deleted. I own a majority of the Legends Targetmasters and they are fine. Plastic quality is much nicer than the Siege battlemasters. I think many of these collectors don't really own them. I have even done videos about them as Legends Misfire price has gone through the roof as well as Legends Windblade
Okay, are you seriously calling people here liars because you have a different experience of / opinion about the toys, which may indeed be based on real production variances?
