One of the Chinese sellers finally posted the GoT Unsullied helmets. Bought the last lot he had for my newest MotU custom ideas.

Most likely Halo as GOT only got 1 wave of Heroes and MOTU's last wave was an Amazon exclusive.

I'm still disappointed MOTU Heroes waves won't be continued like Halo's are. As a huge Mega MOTU fan/collector, we are starving for product.

    Halo.

The other two are no longer getting Heroes waves.

Mostly just hoping that I missed some news and something new was out at Kroger...

Sometimes, the hunt is more fun than actually getting the thing. :)

Says it releases mid-October which is about right for an advent calendar. They are meant to be started 1st of December.

I'm amazed at how much articulation has been packed into the current Halo minifigs. Real divergent evolution from Lego going on here.

As do I. I wonder if this new one was just some goof listing. Especially since this is still a thing one can get too.

Masters of the Universe MEGA Advent Calendar Building Set, Toys for Boys, Ages 8+ [Amazon Exclusive] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WKJ7D8K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_X6QWSPAX7CMGEZB7DF5R

Agreed. Mega has done their best to make a good mini-figure, albeit constrained to proportions they established a long time ago. And, unfortunately, tight budgets. If they were a little closer to using a base height of 2.5 inches, they'd be a perfect scale to adapt to a lot of stuff that already exists on the market. As it is, you can fudge here and there and make do with things like the old Sigma Six Joe toys and some of the Marvel toys.

I received my $15 Point Dread sets from DeepDiscount. Not sure what I'm going to build with them (army of purple cats?), but I couldn't pass up getting some $50 sets for super cheap.

I decided to stop by my local Kroger Marketplace. (Centerville, OH) They had a nearly complete case of newest Halo Heroes marked down to $2.45/piece. Grabbed a few.

Then I discovered a big clearance table in the middle of the grocery section with a couple dozen random Heroes figures (old and new) marked down to $1 or $2.

I ended up walking out with a basket full of random figures...

Thanks for inspiring my stopping in!

Yep. They are pretty good about randomly discounting things. Wish the stores around here had had stuff marked down like that.

When my local Kroger had a toy aisle they regularly clearanced Lego sets 50% off just 6 months (or less) after release. Still disappointed they got rid of that during their remodel years ago.

My superKroger used to carry a lot of Mega stuff (second only to TRU (RIP)), and they had big sales periodically that I'd really stock up on CoD fodder. I lost track of the number of Astronaut and Nazi figure sets I bought for $7...

But that was "in the before time, in the long long ago." Now they have a few pokemon things, a box of halo heroes, and a leftover CoD 4-pack. That's it. And they no longer go on sale. I used to get excited about Mega-hunting at Kroger, and now it's merely a sad reminder of what used to be.
