Good thing I have decided not to wait anymore and buy it on EBay instead (Better hurry cause they gone real fast), it just shipped this afternoon. It is better paying a bit more now instead of waiting all the way till December.

 

And the funny thing is, as I mentioned, my local supplier already had Perceptor last Feb/March. I skipped it because of my previous bulk orders from Amazon to my regret . I have an alternative source:

You know perceptor is getting repacked in wave 2 with arcee and ironhide right?

 

Now that’s something I have never heard before. Even if he is getting a repack, it won’t show up until at least August.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure I don't want to pay a $15 premium to get Perceptor.

 

It is up to you. This particular Studio Series wave hardly ever showed up at any stores within my drivable area. I have never seen Studio Series BBM Brawn at retail, the others like BBM Wheeljack and Ratchet only showed up once and never seen again. Legacy Series, on the other hand, is doing better with showing up at stores.

 

Mine is sitting in my pile of loot, waiting for the legacy wave 1 deluxes to arrive.

 

Lucked out when I ordered Perceptor on Pulse. Have yet to see one in a store.

 

So does the pile of loot always work the way it's supposed to? Because I tried this once or twice with a couple of preorders on BBTS and they were trying to ship stuff individually as soon as they came in. And yes they were in my pile of loot and I never okayed them to ship me anything by itself.

 

As far as I have experienced it.

 

You can only hold an item in the Pile of Loot for a certain amount of time, after which it will mail out automatically. So maybe that's the reason why?

 

It seems like the extra $15 I spend paid off…


It is even faster than Amazon’s estimated date before cancellation.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case . I pre-ordered a few items last summer I think it was studio Jazz, Kup, and Blurr. I had just placed the order like a week prior and it was trying to ship out Jazz without the others. I think I cancelled my order after that and tried TFsource and the same thing happened. I'm giving BBTS one more try with these Legacy figures hoping they will ship at the same time with pile of loot.

 

Make sure when placing the pre-order that you specify you want them to go to the Pile of Loot when they arrive. It gives you the choice, and it may default to automatically shipping when they arrive in stock. That's the best I can think of.

 

I'm pretty sure I did all of that and they still did the opposite unfortunately. But I will try it one more time see what happens.

 

Just checked up on Amazon Perceptor. The actual Amazon item sold by Amazon is nowhere to be found  for about a few days after I cancelled my order. Even in my account, the order was not reflected. The other non Amazon vendors selling on Amazon around $40ish.

Amazon now delayed the $24 option to later than May 6th, so those who preordered Perceptor but didn’t got their order shipped yet won’t get the figure in April.

 

Congrats btw for the Perceptor you scored ! Mine more or less end of April 2022. No big, but at least I got an assured ETA from Japan. I know the issues with shipping etc but poor Perceptor really got the short end of the stick!

 

Thanks, I’ll be posting more pictures featuring SS86 Perceptor. This whole wave is pretty much non existent in retail, but at least they are all widely available except Perceptor.
