Greetings to folks who own P.E. Aranea! I recently received my pre-ordered MagicPower Mp-46Bw "Black Wolfsbane", the new KO of Aranea. I love it! So cool. However...

I may be wrong about this, but I think maybe my Black Wolfsbane has an assembly error. Y'know the semicircle-type clamp that unfolds up from inside the spider head/cowling, that allows it to serve as the shield/forearm weapon? Mine can only unfold out to about maybe 45 degrees, rather than the 90 degrees I gather it should fold out to. I don't know how clear or unclear it may be from these pictures, but I think my toy was assembled with the fold-out clamp reversed. Can someone who owns the real thing take a look at my pics, try to see what I'm talking about, and confirm (or debunk) my diagnosis?

(Also, if the part is revered, can anyone recommend a solution?)

I don’t think yours is misassembled. On my copy of the KO, that piece is pretty tight, and seems to hit a sticking point at 45 degrees. But if you push it further it readily opens up to the full 90 degrees.

 

Thank you for the tip! I tried pushing it harder. It was scary, but... it worked! You were right, and I'm glad. My badasss Motobot-babe is all geared up now. Cheers!

 

Shit @greboguru and @Thundercracker Blue thank you guys for posting this here because since its release I never thought the clip went out past that limited angle either and never displayed the shell on her arm because of it.

 

Anyone know where to get the Magic Power that just released? The only places I can find are asking over $100 for it.

 

There's a thread for it. I know they had sales links for it at one point.
