Good deco for a dino!  

 

The hunt for Cliffjumper continues. Target didn’t have him but they did have all of the Legacy Deluxes Wave 1! So I got Skids and Dragstrip. Dragstrip is cool but he’s probably gonna go into the attic until I get the rest of Menasor.

Also, I’m not a big Funko Pop guy but I had to get Starscream.

Man, I personally thought 95% of the FOC line was crap… but HOLY HELL, is this guy awesome! I love this Kickback and still display him to this day!

I dig this guy; he's closer to Kingdom Soundwave and the other more interesting Core figures than the perfectly-fine-but-perfunctory ones (Prime, Seekers, Megs, etc.), but there will always be part of me that wishes this guy was a Deluxe, even a shrimpier Cliffjumper-sized Deluxe. In my head I'd envisioned a retool of Generations IDW Chromia since her motorcycle mode worked well for Iguanus. Still, I'm glad a Pretender's finally getting some attention amidst this blitz Hasbro's been on the past few years since Siege.

 

I couldn't find this sale at my local target. If they can still make money selling for $5.99, I wonder how much their costs are?

Havent posted these yet but I finally found Laser Prime! That and today I picked up Legacy silverstreak.

 

They probably aren't making money, they're just clearing out old stock.

Edit: Arcee also has a nasty flaw in one of her wings. One of them takes way too much force to get passed a clicking point in order to fold over for robot mode and it's starting to pry apart the joint. It's not the case for the other wing though, that one is a lot softer and doesn't even have the clicking point so probably just bad QC, gonna have to turn it in for a replacement unfortunately.

Finally got my hands on Legacy deluxes! Oddly enough I found these in a secondhand collector shop. None of the actual retailers near me have gotten any Legacy yet.

 

Me: "Ugh, Legacy Bulkhead looks terrible! It's just a green Grapple! I'll never buy it, hard pass!"

I swear I just need to stick with Newage Transformers and ditch all the Hasbro stuff. I've never had as much fun, excitement, and anticipation as when I get a new Newage release. Just fun to transform, fun to pose, and fun to look at. Haven't been disappointed yet with any of their stuff.

 

Two most recent mail runs. Dune Runner and Ransack came from a friend over at Joecustoms. Snuggle Puggle, Stinkeye Stapleton and Spud Muffin arrived today from a friend on Facebook.
