I like the white, but like the gray more. But, I don’t think I like it more enough to double-dip. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised they did 2 versions, but I figured Hosehead and Cab were essentially the same. Alas. Unless anyone wants to trade?

 

On it's own I feel the same, but there is an external factor (for me at least) that I have Minerva/Goshooter and Nightbeat/Siren in different places so to complete each trio I would need two figures anyway so might as well have them different.

While I would have preferred a few small mould changes to better match the look of the G1 toy, I appreciate that we're at least getting this repaint. woot.

 

I had Hosehead as a kid, so I'm in on this. I'll have all 6 of the Autobot Junior Headmasters in MP scale! Jap and US versions both, I need to figure out how to display them though. All together, or to make a cartoon shelf separate from non cartoon shelf?

EDIT: Man, the black arms on the headmaster look so good. I wish they’d done that on Siren and Nightbeat too.

Looks like Kap will be getting a new HMJ with yhe face swapping but just not woth MB-14A.

Very thankful they've listened to this feedback.

 

This sounds petty, but I sort of wish they’d release a small pack of just the little headmaster arms (for all three figures) but in black. I really like how they look on MB-14A, and would enjoy having the option to swap them on the other figures too.

 

What's petty about that? I'm glad Kap is getting the upgraded headmaster at all.

Edit: I misread "this" as "that." My bad and didn't those comes with Black God Bomber?

Oh yeah, for sure! Sorry, I didn’t mean the upgraded head was petty, I meant my desire for repainted black headmaster arms might seem petty.   But actually I don’t think it is… I think the black arms on Flame Breaker’s head really make a noticeable difference, and increase the G1 feel a lot. So I’m glad to hear they’re up for releasing little upgrades like the alternate face after the fact (and as you said, listening to feedback). Always good to get little improvements to figures like that.

 

Oh, did they? Ah, cool. I never picked up any of their Godbombers, so I didn’t realize that!

Oh, just because you were talking about an upgraded part that was going to be released in the future, which made me think of other little parts I’d like to see released like that.   Sorry for any confusion!

 

Dude I am horrible tonight with skimming and may just need to retire from trying to check and respond here tonight. I also didn't notice you specified arms I thought you just meant plain black headmasters which were released for the three with Black Bomber. I'm sorry.

I agree that the darker arms add a really nice offset. I wouldn't want them for all of them but DEFINITELY for Nightbeat (Nite Walker) at least.

 

Haha, no worries! I’ve been there… sometimes the brain is doing other things while the eyes are reading.  

And yeah, agreed, Nightwalker is the one who would benefit most from dark headmaster arms. It would help his head stand out more in that sea of (very nice) blue, and the G1 black side-head guns (even faux, in this case) are kind of an important part of completing the Nightbeat look, for me.
