yeah i love them, easily one of my favorite tf-related purchases. they always stay on display in some manner.

 

Just arrived this morning! Less than 2 weeks from when I ordered it and damn! This guy is the real deal. Love the massive cannon different head sculpts.

 

He look like dad and son when paired with siege Megatron, both two share the same design/philosophy at some point.

 

I love how in so many comparison shots of MP and MPM Megatrons it's always a consistent Silver/Grey with red and black, a arm cannon.

And then there's Armada Megs.

 

Starscream looks so short compared to Megs.

 

Whoever does a legit faction logo please sell me one. I would love a raised logo

 

Received mine and he is awesome, but had my second of all time issue with a 3p figure. :/ Rotating the panel on the right arm for transformation and bam, this happened. Have reached out to see what we can do, since this was day of arrival yesterday.

 

Got mine. He looks amazing, but his joints are so tight, it might as well be a statue! Just posing him once to put on the shelf was exhausting! Transforming it is out of the question.

Still, this LOOKS amazing, and I’ll happily keep him next to my ThreeA figures. Fits in perfectly.

The sword accessory doesn’t get as much recognition as it deserves. It looks fantastic! Is it an original sculpt or an oversized retool of another weapon? It looks similar to WFC’s sword, but not close enough. I swear I’ve seen something similar before but just can’t place it. Regardless, it’s a work of art.

 

He does look amazing! Yeah, some joints are tight. Be careful of the shoulders if you transform him. The joint there snapped on mine. (I can fudge it to look intact in robot mode, but alt mode is likely a no-go right now.) Waiting to hear from TCP on what we can do.

 

Did the BB movie Decepticons use the Bayverse movie insignias?

 

Hard to see them but yeah they did.

 

Man it would suck if the shoulders on mine were to break. Seems like there's quite a few lemons out there.

 

I really love the powerful sculpt of this toy.

What is preventing me from buying this is the limited paint apps and too shiny paint. Don't like the weathered rust paint.

I think all of that shinny paint and less paint apps hides a lot of sculpt this toy had. The purpose of coloring a toy is to try to bring out the sculpted details and not try to hide them.

While I think Walmart Masterpiece Starscream pulled off a great weathered look. This Monocrat has the opposite effect.

I would be interested in buying another version later. That offers more paint apps. Less. Less shinny paint.

I think the tank treads needs to stand out more and be a different color than the other parts on the legs. Red paint apps on the inner lower legs and arms would give it a G-1 toy look.

Example of the prefect grey shade for this are the various movie verse Megatron toy colored Toys for 2007, Rotf, Dorm, 5th movie..

I am just not a fan of overly shinny painted Toys as they remind me of those shinny metaiic KO's.

 

you have a point. he's painted like he's greasy and oily and just swam around in grime instead of being weathered properly.

 

Anybody got a good looking factory original box they don't want? My arrived okay, but the packaging took a beating.
