    I’m pretty sure yes.
Probably, they got to see footage from the fight with Blitzwing. Cause that were the talk of a G1 Starscream in BB started.

At this point, I'm convinced we'll see something for ROTB at CinemaCon. The fact that Paramount accidentally uploaded something on YouTube last week is making me feel like something is coming.

Thats something also to consider. Maybe that was meant to be a private video that would be only show at Cinemacon?

True, but that’s for a film that’s coming out in a few months. If they did show something and release it it’ll be first shown there then released to the public.

Well I thought about what if this movie is the first time we see them do a space bridge or ground bridge and use it the way they did in prime. It's not new when they bring back something that fans are familiar with but just name it differently. It's not just transformers that it's happen to there's other fanbases who have done the same thing

I could see it being used like a groundbridge/spacebridge. I remember there being a rumor I saw in the old rotb thread that Noah would use a groundbridge or something like it to “teleport” to another place.

Yea and plus the movies seem to have more prime elements than any other. With hound basically being bulkhead. And the unicron is earth and the man made transformers.

I'm hoping that the animation will be good. In AOE and TLK, the cgi was lacking, and often times, lip syncing was virtually non-existant. Bumblebee wasn't bad, I feel like they got the lighting aspect (which is arguably the most important thing for making the robots look real in the first place) right again since the first three films.

That said, I have a couple gripes with Bumblebee that I hope ROTB will either amend or avoid in some capacity.

With the honeymoon phase over, Bumblebee is kinda mid. It's not bad, but other than the two Cybertron scenes, it never reaches those highs again.
I would legitimately rather watch '07 or DOTM again over it.

My biggest issue is that there are elements which feel rushed, like John Cena in the helicopter. He's clearly taking to someones else, and IIRC, there's even a very brief shot of a pilot. But when Shatter shoots them down, the pilot is nowhere to be scene. They don't fall out, They aren't there when Bee catches it, and Burns keeps talking like they never existed.

Shatter and Dropkick's names are never used, not by each other, and not by Sector 7 either.

Finally, and this I feel will affect ROTB (because of beast modes), is that most of the transformations in Bumblbee look more akin to morphing. The triple changers being particularly bad.

Blitzwing's is hands down the best, and Bumblebee's are okay. But I'm fairly convinced that Dropkick's cockpit glass just magically becomes the car's grill. It looks really weird.

I always thought that was more of a Brooklyn accent, myself. I'd be okay with a slightly different regional accent, though, since it still captures the idea and that of course is something Paramount routinely has proven unable to grasp the concept of.

Def Brooklyn to me. He sounds how Jeanine Melnitz would sound if she were a guy.

Personally I always pegged Jackie as having a sorta Brooklyn thing, and had an amusing mental image of Jackie and Rattrap(who had a Bronx accent)'s back and forth's with eachother.

But a JOYZEE accent? I'll take that, anything would be better than the horrifying """""accent"""" he was given in DOTM. Holy shit.

I don't think Drift's name was said aloud in AOE either (though it did appear on a screen)

Yeah it wasn't until The Last Knight we hear his name uttered onscreen and Grimlock's.

I can get that but just leading up to BB and months after TLK, the love I had for the films even the 07 movies and DOTM which I still maintain are the best of the Bayverse started to ware off and I started to dislike and see the complaints of why many hate these films and I now kind of hate them. Still got nostalgia for the first 3 especially 1 since it got me into TF's as a kid and still watch scenes from the movies and will still buy some toys from them.
I think that mainly had to do with the budget. Bumblebee had a $102–135 million, whereas the Bayverse films had a bit of a bigger budget minus the 07 movie (07 - 145 million, ROTF - 200 million, DOTM - 195 million, AOE - 210 million, TLK - 217 million). ROTB has a 200 million dollar budget so that should help it along with unlike the Bay films it seems we aren't getting as many explosions or even the same amount of "end of the world destruction".

I do agree that they should have mentioned their names in the movie, especially in their introduction scene to S7. But also on the flip side it's not the first time a character or a few character's names are never said or mentioned in the movie (the Dinobots, Topspin, pretty much all the Autobots in the opening of BB, etc.)
To be fair that's the problem with most triple changers. In G1 pretty much minus Springer, all of them (Blitzwing, Astrotrain, Octane, etc.) pretty much have alt modes that have no parts similar in either mode so parts are either coming out of nowhere or going nowhere. Which is even harder when the triple changer is a live-action character that requires more detail and parts.
yeah thinking about it it's more NY-ish than Jersy, but it has that style of an accent either way.
I was about to say did Que have a accent in DOTM? But them I remembered, I don't think it horrifying but the words coming out of that face certainly are.
Nope, not that I can remember no.

In theory, yes. But in practice... TFwiki puts it as such:
    • Good luck trying to figure out his accent, by the way, as he oscillates between an impenetrably garbled half-Scottish, half-Irish muddle and English "Received Pronunciation" all the way through the film, at times in the same sentence. What we can tell you he's not speaking with, though, is a German accent, which a disturbing number of American fans seems to have concluded based simply on the fact he looks like Einstein.

Damn, no wonder I have no idea what accent it was. That's a pretty good way to put it. I feel like that accent kind of fits the Einstein-looking face but still not a fan of that choice.

Little off-topic but like Mirage/Dino I like to consider the Wheeljack/Que, not the same characters mainly since in the film they are never referenced as "Wheeljack" or "Mirage" (minus the end credits) only in the DOTM game and in comics I believe. Also off-topic but personally I'd be kind of cool in some fiction Que being Wheeljack mentor-type character or in for Dino and Mirage to be brothers

I honestly never understood why everyone hated Que so much. Sure, he looks weird and he isn't Wheeljack in the traditional sense, but I dug him, personally. He was a softspoken inventor who just wanted to help out. And while I didn't shed any tears over his demise, it was still sad to see.

Plus, he's voiced by the same guy that did Calcelmo in Skyrim.
