Nah, there's at least 2 Mini-con ports; right on the top of the claw.

I think if Drill Bit is packed as a Core, he'll have more than enough budget to come packed with the key.

At this point, none of the larger figures are all that recognizable to people outside hardcore collectors.

Fort Max, Scorponok, Trypticon, etc. Not even Sky Lynx or Jetfire.

 

I hope more Unicron Trilogy figure are like this Metroplex, a more screen accurate Cybertron Optimus Prime, both a new robot mode and super mode would be *chef's kiss*.

I want it but not for 200 bucks. Not without the minicon.
The ark dropped to 130 on Walmart during Xmas.
If this drops to around there I'll grab it, but otherwise meh..hasbro is really making it harder for me to collect with these price increases. Seems they will use any excuse to raise prices these days.

Plus the Ark just by itself was sought after by a good many people.

 

At a glance, it looks nice. But...I was here when Cybertron was current and he (along with Menasor) was just a big nothingburger. That hasn't changed and, really, shouldn't if they want to cater to Unicron Trilogy fans. Hope they're opening their wallets because this was a big pass for me the second it was announced.

I have no connection to this figure or character, but that box art is amazing and the figure is nuts! If the figure is on a steep enough sale eventually, I may grab.

Wow, he looks amazing, and I’ve never watched Cybertron. It’s a shame there’s no key, I guess DNA or Dr. Wu is gonna have to take care of that if just for the key itself.

Tidal Wave was still my first pick for a Titan class UT figure.

 

The alt mode doesn't even look like an Earth-Mover. It still looks like a robot doing doggystyle. No improvement for me. Definitely not for $200. Go look up some pictures of real Earth Movers & you'll see that this looks nothing like it except for the big shovel wheel. The huge shovel wheel doesn't sit on top, it's supposed to be sticking out one end for like a mile. Just like the original, this is an awesome robot that doesn't really have an alt mode.
