This is something I'd be curious to see, as well. I've got the cursed TC Bee right now, and I honestly have been too scared to move it from its resting place to do a size comparison with the standard MPM Prime.. but I feel like they'd line up really well.

Cyber Era Bee is on its way to me now, and I feel like it's almost as big as the standard MPM Prime, based on photos.. I'm really hoping that this kit gooses things up enough that they'll look natural together; I sold off my BMB Prime long ago, and it'd be such a pain to have to flip the MPM/DNA kit and start hunting for another version yet again. Plus, we've got Monocrat out now, Cyber Scream, etc; combined with CE Bee, they're seemingly all scaled to 3A/3Zero, and I feel like MPM Prime just won't measure up on the shelf for me, even with this kit..

I'm probably not going to buy, unless it goes down in price

Its tough to justify a quarter price ($60?) of a ThreeZero DLX, for an upgrade kit.

I still can't believe no one has offered something like just the hands and arms for half the price.

I only really care about the leg extension. I think the full kit makes the alt mode look worse the having just the cat ears.

    Not worth $50 for me.

I can say that everything in the kit feels worth it except the head. The knee bend is better but it’s also adding thigh swivel, silver color and also the added height which makes him feel more proportional. This kit is by no means a rip off.
    I’d sell just the head.

I wouldn't call it a rip off, just too much for my needs.

There actually is another kit not made by dna that upgrades the arms. Not sure about the price.

For perspectives sake, a 3d modeler from instagram is selling an upgrade head, a bit of the torso for $100 shipped for a Knight Prime. No paint, no articulation, just straight up printed bits.

Yeah, but I THINK that got cancelled.

Sure, but in my opinion I can't justify that price

Everybody seems to want something different from this kit, but not the entire thing. As always, I feel like the answer is really obvious: buy the kit, use what you want, then toss the rest of it up on Ebay to offset the overall cost. Totally worth it, if at the end of the day you are only out like.. 10-20 bucks.

In fact, I bet if you’re only interested in one component, you’ll probably make back nearly your entire investment— people are damn weird about eBay, and they’ll literally bid more than MSRP on a partial lot of a set that’s still new/in-stock with retailers.

I’ve never figured out how the cognitive dissonance works, but damned if I haven’t made some of the most baffling profit off of incomplete items that I’ve listed below, but then sold for well over retail.

Fair enough. The hands/shoulder bits to me are the only thing it desperately needed, but the rest definitely feels like worthy improvements over what we had (except the head, as I've said a bunch of times).

What mods are you planning to implement for the stock head?

I already did it but the results aren't spectacular. I'm hoping to have the "ears" be able to compress for transformation and expand for robot mode. Once you cut the ear piece (both ears are one solid piece) in half and extend the ears out even a couple mm the stock head looks great.

MPM-12 stands 28 cm tall in robot mode. Can anyone here determine how tall he is in centimeters with the DK-27 upgrade kit?

Very very quick and dirty shots while I had time. It was a bit of a chore to install everything but not as bad as I was thinking. Love the arms, legs and even the shoulder fins. And shockingly that head is growing on me after I slapped some light blue paint on it.

How difficult was it to install the kit?

The only part that was real tough were the shoulder pads.
Punching the pin out wasn’t hard but making sure the little spring was in the right direction while holding in place AND moving the new pad into the hinge ON TOP of putting the pin back in lol.
Three hands would be nice to have. Not the hardest thing but not the easiest for sure.

I’m really enjoying the kit however and I’m glad to have it! Even the head is really really growing on me.
