I almost think he should have been Seaspray; making Seaspray more a military vehicle would have a fit in with Warpath and Powerglide a little better.
Definitely seems like a Wreckers color scheme which was the direction TF Prime seemed lean towards.

Or a G.I.Joe homage; the head sculpt reminds of Wetsuit and the alt mode reminds of the WHALE

I hadn't, didn't really see the need. But I bought XTB's Kup when TFSource had it in a Black Friday sale, but I stashed in figuring that I'd get something else later and save on shipping. Well, between then getting stuff last, charging more, and collecting sales tax I never did, and they sent me an email that said they were going to ship soon and charge me for whatever the cheapest shipping option was. Figuring I needed to spend $30 to get free shipping, and that I'd rather pay for something than just shipping, I bought the little Optimus. And I love it so much I bought the Galvatron/Soundblaster and Soundwave/Beachcomber sets from TFSafari and preordered Roller and the trio of Seeker sets.

 

Surely you mean the SEXTET of Seeker Sets.  

 

No...? Three Seekers, three sets; Starscream with Seaspray, Thundercracker with Powerglide, and Skywarp with Blaster. Three's a trio. I mean, if they want to do sets with the Coneheads down the road I'm game, but for now it's just the three.

 

There's also three repaint sets: Acid Storm with Black Seaspray, Hotlink with Bad Boy (Gobot Powerglide), and Sunstorm with Twincast.

 

I guess that's why everyone's talking about a black Seaspray, eh? Didn't see preorders for those yet, but nah, I'm not in for repaints. The only reason why I'm getting both Soundwave and Soundblaster is because you have to take Soundblaster if you want Galvatron.

 

Can't fault you for that! I'm a Seeker repaint junkie and the additional trio of repaints look quite cool [and so do their pack-mates].

Speaking of Dr. Wu, I think as watching Centurions recently and noticed the weapons testing guy for the Centurions was Dr. Wu! In my mind, this is Dr. Wu now.

 

Received a ton of Pre-order Payment Requests from ShowZ this morning - 7 in Total - for all 6 of the Seeker Decos plus the Roller 2-pack.

I Pre-Ordered 2 of each, so it was a spendy day...

 

Definitely possible, though I usually just think of Steely Dan's "Doctor Wu" off their album "Katy Lied."

I had suspected that maybe there was an older comic or radio drama villain named Dr Wu in the past like the character of Fu Manchu, but google didn't really give me anything, though I did learn that there is a Stand in the 8th arc of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure named Dr Wu, soooo... that's cool.
