Sorry, I don't have any pictures of vehicle mode, now. It is exactly same with un-modified one after re-combining the removed parts below. thanks.
Question: How did you remove MPM Ratchet 's Cage of the Grill? I was able to remove the Arms/Head complex. Which leave you with the tube. And I see two screws, one on the tube, and one in the car front grill... and I can see the grill is behind held by a screw, and based your pics, you kept the circle intact of the grill, how do I get to the thing that holds the cage of the grill? In the pic below, I can remove those two screws. The tube can be divided, but the other screw in the front part holds what together? I am only left to try to pry the to tube from its halfs, but I don't want to try and break that central part. Is there a specific part to start dividing in the front grill part? Do I remove pins(not my forte but I guess I'll have to learn). And what is holding the front cage of grill? A pin or a screw?
I cut the pipe of the grill part like below. Even though it was cut, it can be re-attached with the tension of the material.
Thank You! Nice! Did you also try it on the OG MPM? I think I see the line cut there too. Just making sure the plastic quality is the same. I think I'll go ahead with your method. What I saw was that with taking off the easy screws, you can eventually have a peek at the screw that is holding the middle light and grill. My thought process was that if I remove the pin, then one would be able to remove the organ chest part complex and then have somewhat clear access, even though probably at an angle, to the screw. But cut seems easier, and easier to remove and detach! now, for another Q, How did you recreate/make the Accurate Robot form shrunken Grill? Was it a glue gun with black glue? Awesome job btw!
I have also tried on my original mpm ratchet and it worked well. The grill of the original ratchet is softer than black mamba's one, so the cutting job was easier. According to shrunken grill, I took it from studio series ratchet's one. I made it wavy by applying some heat treatment. I think making a new grill by using glue gun is good idea. Happy to meet over-sized custom collector. Good luck!
"According to shrunken grill[bullbar], I took it from studio series ratchet's one. I made it wavy by applying some heat treatment." I don't have a spare SS Ratchet. Gonna try to make one. From bendy wire. Maybe have the bendy wire as the skeleton and add hot glue around it...Hot black glue or glue that I can paint black. Or maybe just paper, kek
Glad that I hoard these bendy wires that come with packages or the tie ups that have parts of furniture. Gonna see how these go. Not sure how to go about them. Try and just bend them at certain parts, or mold the shape and then heat connected them
