They're very pretty. I have the Starscream in gold because I intend to one day create a mini scene in my display of Beachcomber kneeling by the lagoon (already painted his hand gold) and Starscream bursting out of it firing wildly into the air. I'm not planning on going any further on the Golden Lagoon but I just love Optimus and this repaint was so damned beautiful, I had to get it.

 

Nice display, did you randomly split the groups or do you have any backstory for them?

That Mirage transformation sequence was cool. I tried that once with Sludge and it took forever (I don't mess with photoshop much).

 

Kind of a random scheme here on a shelf I made in high school; Newage beachcomber is fishing for MFT sharkticons, catch and release because he’s a hippie. Yes I have two Prowls.(and two cyclonuses, kind of assembling his “armada” I guess) It started with that very shoddy Optimus knockoff from a brand I don’t remember, which I bought on Facebook (and which happened to be around legends scale) and a horrible obsession began… also includes some OG micro masters and takara’s marvelous Blockmen

Headmasters now completed, such a shame they didn't give Fortress maximus/Cerebros a make over as well can't remember his exact name as he's from the Japanese Headmasters cartoon. I don't mind Brainstorm without a faceplate as he takes it off in mtmte but have thrilling 30 anyway so all good there.

Now DJD pretty much completed with the arrival of Vos and Kaon, the big blue guy is a cheap base unit I brought to custom build a Helex at some point as he's become rare as rocking horse shit think there is one on AliExpress for £800+ well you can fuck right off at that price!
Anyway the combiner bits were missing the big Decepticon mask/badge despite being new bit of a shame considering it was brand new but Im not looking to ever combine them (hence the custom Helex build) they didn't combine in the comic they didn't need to bloody scary enough!
Kaon and Vos are mean little tortures WEAR MY FACE BITCH!!!! and the other dude is just Electrifying.

Finally the Arielbots set I wanted to enjoy the plane modes a little longer but their very finicky the wings kept moving out of position with very little effort while Silverbolts rear wing tabs just would not stay in place one side just kept popping up bloody Tolerances, needs a tiny bit of filling.
But the main gripe I had was no slots for flight stands that really got me, this day and age you want to display alt modes like this in flight its such a shame as they went through so much effort to make them accurate.

Now bot modes they really shine and I like them so much it could be a while until I transform them to Superion, there brilliant, clever simple transformations I figured out without the instructions some aspects similar to the g1. Lots of posabilty, plus some nice die cast thrown in too.
Fireflights face though is hilarious its like that bit from Face-off "No more drugs for that man!"

When the Minibots travelled to Earth on a Spacebridge.




Jetfire strafing a green Bluestreak and red Bumblebee. Replaced by Barricade and Cliffjumper.

 

I put some water slides on my gold magic square prime and dry rubs on my gold newage starscream, I thought it looked ok but you almost can’t tell they are there because they blend in so well.
Gold against Gold….who would have thought! Lol
But those silvers do look good against the gold, I think I’ll try that when I unpack David.
Are those dry rub or water slides?

 

Waterslides from Uncle Billy. They're a foil looking silver - almost chrome rather than normal metallic. That's why I was thinking the gold ones would work pretty well. They'd pop a lot more than if they were just a metallic gold like the figure. I'm thinking about getting the Decepticon symbols in gold for my golden Starscream and I think Hodur might look good with gold symbols too.

i still have faith that MFT my lord and savior will finish out their headmasters with an updated cerebros. the only real question is will he truly be compatible with titan fort max...god only knows

I'm hoping too one day, ut hinted towards something by doing that figure but nothing ever came.
I measured thar head up against wfc Omega supreme and that looked about right for size, I would like to build a custom body for it one day otherwise, I remember seeing someone build one from lego to scale worked really well

And someone 3d printed one too see pictures before which are not mine

 

I see you went with the “toy” version of NA Mirage, I did too, just cooler looking.Even if not toon accurate, other media goes with that look for the same reason IMO

Reduced my activity on the formus to pretty much zero, but the collection is indeed very active.

Latest arrivals include MFT Hoist, Grapple, Inferno, Sideswipe and the new redeco for Hotrod, MST Hound, and a second set of Zeta Aerialbots, to display the team along with Superion...

That Hoist looks great - How is he compared to NA or MS stuff? I don't own any MFT figures.

i think most of us defaulted to the NA seekers in our legends collections. for me i think they fit in really well with MS bots.
