We’re back to Prime already? Looks nice but pass. Happy with the others.

    that was my reaction.
I have enough prime ornaments already. Devestator would have been cool.

Yea I loved the toy aesthetic. Very satisfied with the ones I picked up. Have more than enough ornaments in general, so really didn’t want any more. So this is a win for me.

Looks nice, but I do mourn the apparent end of the toy accurate ornaments.

...yeah, this is bit disappointing in comparison to the previous "based on the toy, alternating between Autobots and Decepticons each year" path they were going down. :(

Cute, but would've preferred they continued the theme they were going with.

I'm sure I'll still buy it to keep the tradition going, but I was hoping this year they would have done a Version 2 of Toy Prime for those that missed out (and have the same type of pose as the other ornaments after him), or started the '86 crew like Hotrod or Ultra Magnus. I even had hope they might have tried some oversized ornaments for the likes of Devastator or Omega Supreme.

I'm liking the look of this ornament and will definitely buy it but as others have stated I'm disappointed that they're ending the toy-accurate sculpts. I would have liked to seen a Prowl or Hot Rod ornament this year. Oh well.

Whose to know, maybe they figured they wanted an excuse to restart the line with the core G1 group or maybe it's a mandate from Hasbro.

On a related note, I'm glad the gaming console line is continuing with the Sega Genesis.

End of a (somewhat) era. The toy-based ornaments were thematically perfect for the holiday season. Sad I missed out on two (the first Optimus and Soundwave) but the rest adorn my tree yearly and they look excellent together.

Maybe it’s not the “toy” ornament for this year. Maybe.

Bummer. I'll double check this summer, but it looks like I'm out. I picked up all of the toys one so far. That Genesis is nice though and I already have the SNES, so I guess that is the direction I will be going.

Why do I wish he was in the 86 Movie gun pose? That would've been really neat

It\'s okay looking but I definitely am with everyone else I loved the toy ones way more I\'m hoping this is just a subset they\'re doing now and they\'ll keep doing the toy versions as well.

Not that thrilled about this being what might be some sort of start over with non toy based looks going forward. Then again Masterpieces only went so far themselves. Picking a handful of prominent characters from 84-86 and then going and doing Version 2's and 3's of previous figures in some cases rather than new characters.
