I've loved Botbots since the toyline first debuted, and same goes for the show. Problem is that most of the figures don't really resemble their on-screen counterparts.

So I decided to do the only logical thing and make some myself, starting with my personal favorite, Bonz-Eye!

    Final1.jpg

To the top of her hair she's juuuuust under 10 centimeters, so she's roughly the size of an old Scout class figure. it's pretty close to her scale in-actual canon!

    Final2.jpg

I managed to make her SUPER posable despite her size, all without using balljoints because they're tricky to print on an FMD printer, especially at this scale. She's also compatible with 3mm flight stands.

    Final3.jpg

And yes, she DOES transform! No parts-forming, though her arms do just stick out the back of the planter. They at least act as supports though.

    Final4.jpg

Files should be up by this weekend once I finish up the assembly/transformation instructions!

    Amazing :thumb
The 3D-print pattern even adds to the look of the tree.
    How tall is she?

Even though I’m not a fan of Bot Bots, I would purchase something like this. Great job designing it!
Any pics of the back to see what you mean about the arms sticking out? Too bad you couldn’t incorporate them into the pot.
I’m trying to figure out what the slide mechanism does and how the plant stem appears? I was guessing the head goes inside the foliage but the slide mechanism would probably move the head inside the body, with the stem on top of the head? am I in the ballpark?
Edit: nevermind, the head is too big to fit inside the body so I am lost on the slide mechanism

Just under 10 centimeters to the top of her hair/leaves.

Here's a back view, even without the slider taking up the torso I don't think I could have had the arms fold inside or anything. Maybe if I do a version 2 someday I can hide them away better, but I didn't want to make them too complicated and compromise the look of the bot mode. As is they're kibble that act as supports.

As for the head, it flips into the hair and is hollow so the tree trunk stores inside. The slider is to hide the neck in the torso so the tree isn't too tall.

I hadn't really liked botbots until watching the show with my 4oy son. Now I was looking up the toys and see the same problem you did; no show likenesses. This is exactly what I want for at least the 8 main characters. Thanks for working this out. Excellent job

Oh wow, that's sick, dude. It'd be cool if they made a 5 pack with the bot-bots having stickers that look more like their show counterparts.
