Really weird that they do these for Japan. What does the average japanese fan even know about Straxus and Banzai-Tron, who only ever appeared in western comics?
They did appear in some more recent Japanese originating manga. I'm guessing there is interest in them as they're cool designs and have extra cool factor like a lot of Japanese characters do for non-Japanese collectors (see Star Saber, Overlord, etc.).
