I recall reading that the Terrorcons join the Autobots and Maximals in the final battle against some big beast

 

That was a rumor stated by Ultra Prime TF
Which doesn't really make sense considering the Terrorcons are supposed to be a threat to everyone. If there is a big team up it's probably - Maximals, Autobots and Predacons.

 

It'd be cool if the big bad villain is Cryotek.

 

I wonder if the "Terrorcon" name is because they want to bring Abominus in to be the big villain.

 

I'm thinking they chose it cause of TFP since we have the rumor that the Terrrorcons are working for Unicron and might be reformatted beings.

 

Shockwave traveled back in time, killed Onyx Prime and stole his idenity, then proceeded to shape Cybertronian history.

 

And where was that confirmed?

 

Mainly by the fact that we have not heard anything about him being in the movie - from leaks, rumors to toy listings. We got listings for all the Autobots we know are in the movie same with the Maximals and Rattrap is not there (seems they chose Airazor over Rattrap).

 

Who is Ultra Prime TF, reliable?

 

For the most part yes. Mainly he's the one that shared WJ and Cheetor were in the movie before anyone. And got a image from his source of a photo of the stand in for Cheetor on set.

 

That's fine. The cast already sounds WAY too big for how many new bots are going to be used. Even if a bunch of mearly supporting/background characters while focus is kept on Bee, Prime, Primal, Scourge.

I kinda wish they'd have followed Bee Movie's lead and given us Bee/Prime running across like one or two Maximals and trying to protect them from Scourge and like one hunting buddy. Then let Primal and that one other Maximal go off on their own adventure where you could introduce a wider cast of characters.

 

Agreed which is why I think having 4 Maximals in the movie is fine for this movie. I still think the Predacons are either not gonna be in the movie minus flashback or are barely in it. So that's good. For sure the main focus will be Prime, Primal, Scourge, Mirage and Bee (but if rumors are true he's taking a back seat this time - Mirage taking his place).

That would have been the better way to go, but still interesting and excited for the movie.

 

Yeah, I had a forward facing rhino in mind, too.

 

That means nothing, especially with the movie still a year away. The director also said there were a few characters, one her particularly really liked, that haven't been announced.
I mean, before Bumblebee came out I'm sure there were no mentions of Brawn or Thundercracker appearing but they were still there.

 

Thats fair but even so if Rattrap is apart of the cast I doubt he’s gonna get much screentime compared to the others.

If I were to guess the character he was talking about is either Wheeljack or Cheetor since those were the main two that weren’t revealed at the event. It could be Battletrap of course but I doubt it with how little that character has been used.

I will say I hope we see Brawn, Ironhide and Ratchet at the base in the beginning of the movie since we know they were with Wheeljack and Arcee when they can to Earth.

 

If I had to guess I'm thinking Brawn, Ratchet, and Ironhide and potentially another new Autobot will be seen at least briefly in rise of the beasts, I'm thinking they will be taking a focus on the exploration team Optimus, Bee, Mirage, Wheeljack, Arcee while the others stay behind much like in G1 not every Autobot went on every mission.

Personally I'm fine with that if that's the route they take because we know they are almost certainly on earth given the end of Bumblebee.

 

I definitely agree the main focus will be on that group - Prime, Bee, Mirage, Wheeljack, and Arcee. Since we know there in pretty much the whole movie (since they have actual vehicles that are used and see on set).

I hope so, maybe Ironhide and Brawn get damaged because of their first encounter with Scourge and Ratchet needs to stay behind and look after them. Or they just stay behind to protect the base.
I also hope they at least for Ratchet and Ironhide give them Earth robot modes in the movie instead of them just still having their BB Cybertroian forms still or at least use their BB designs just with new Earth parts over it.

 

The Turquoise one is Rhinox but his crashing through things that's why there's stuff surrounding him if you look closely you can see the Horn a mouth and Rhino looking face and Mouth

 

Yes, and he looked incredible. I on the otherhand, am a HUGE fan of the G1/WfC/FoC-inspired designs. "Creative" is certainly not a word I would ever use to describe anything from RoTF lol but to each their own.
