    Hi all,
I really want an MP-29+ but am happy with a knockoff. Has anyone done him in the darker purple deco? If so, where are the best/cheapest places to track him down.

My apologies if this has been discussed before.

There's no KO of the 29+ colours, just the regular lavender one. No cheap place to find the official one currently, it's pretty sold out all over.

Plus versions never seem to get KO's (and a genuine is $600 used and $1000 new on eBay, yeesh)

The last plus version I saw get a KO was sideswipe and that just had grey tyres and a slightly different red colour. None of the others ever got done.

KO companies are strange these days. In the past you'd get all official releases and a whole lot more. Just thinking back to CHMS I think it was, who released so many version of the Classics Seeker and Sideswipe/Sunstreaker figures. Nowadays, it's limited to the official release only, unless it's + release which seem to be rare.

With Shockwave only the regular release was KO'd. No + version, no Shackwave version in gray or black, nor a more animation accurate in duller purple. They could even make an Energon Sixshot to milk it.

What's even stranger is that they never made a MP-36+ KO. In general KO companies love to chrome parts when it's not needed, and here's a figure that by design is mostly chromed and they didn't make one despite having the mould...

That "+" confers some kind of KO immunity ...... hold on aren't Thundercracker and Skywarp .... both MP-52+ ? Pretty sure both have been KO'ed.

    So much for immunity.....

Since we're on the subject of Shockwave and KOs...

Would there be a KO of regular Shockwave (as I am not paying the current prices for a + version) that's recommended over the official MP?

Except 52+'s are 2 other characters who share the mold that they simply didn't give individual numbers too, not alternative "+" decos of the same character. So maybe immunity intact? LOL

Thanks folks, not the answer I was hoping for but that's okay. Lavender it shall be (unless I get a major pay raise).
