(I think the MP-21 redecos still work best for toy-based redecos of Bumblebee because of their shape, but if we get a new G2 or a Microchange blue beetle, I'd happily take it.)

 

A red one maybe? None of the MP21 repaints sold that well, maybe that's why they went straight to a CJ remold and not squeeze out a repaint.

 

I’d rather have Goldbug as a completely new figure.

 

Entering the hobby as an adult had me very confused on this detail! My childhood bee was a gold Bug, not Goldbug, hence my suggestion:

Yeah I try let that go. It can be hard to find the joy sometimes when there's a lot of people saying the opposite, suppose it's about collecting for yourself. Also yes he can be quite funny lol

 

My most recent acquisitions. Love them all! One of Bumblebee's door foot windows broke off.   Gotta get that fixed. The energy conductors came with Origins Bumblebee and the jet pack I got on eBay from an MP21G. It was missing the straps, but they probably wouldn't fit on this guy anyway. I'll come up with something. Absolutely love the yellow painting @Rainax did on these Insecticons I bought from him!

 

I have some paint chips on my figure, tamiya lemon yellow did the job...

I used the same colour to fix the same chip. The chip on the lower right (his right) of the chest is caused by an interference. There's a bit too much plastic on the part that the chest rotates near. I shaved a bit of that plastic off to stop the chip from coming back. I believe most copies have that issue.

 

Yeah I've seen most the figures did paint chip on that area, like mp44 this figure is prone to paint chipping, I did transform this figure more than 10 times now and no breakage, minus the paint chipping I think this figure is doing quite well...

Did already fix the loose hip joints,.Kiki did it for me.

 

Any mod ppl done to help his vehicle mode hold together better? Especially the back bumper?

If they do, they"ll probably all happen at the same time( 45,47, and MP cliffjumper) if they have to have had to replace the molds.

 

You missed his release? He is hard to find from my usual Jp sources. Not perfect but another great evolution for the MP brand.
