One of the deepest animated movies ever made...

Now imagine Hasbro playing that Tia Carrere song (during the end credits) for all the salty fans who though it would be a new mold but wasn't...

"I never even told you... I thought you knew.."

Burnout? So they're doing a Skids repaint, or it's a new name for a different character whose trademark is gone.

But let us face it, it's black Skids/Shattered Glass Skids. Ugh.

Either way it feels like a sick twisted joke that wasn't funny the first time. I mean is the UT fandom cursed with having bad luck when it comes to Generations updates?! Because this only serves to further make that theory more plausible! I mean it's one thing for Hasbro not to feel that there's a nostalgic market for the UT fanbase right now to not do a Tidal Wave but it's entirely another if it has to do with them not feeling like putting in something as simple as a disclaimer that it doesn't float!

I know I've complained about Hasbro not being willing to delve into the other TF eras when needed to but I never thought they would be willing to do something this stupid and petty about it. I'm now dreading to think what petty reasons they'd have with not tackling certain Animated or Prime characters in the future. It's honestly a miracle that they've decided to do a Titan Class Cybertron Metroplex at all with this new revelation which now I hope to see it sell well more then ever if only to change Hasbro's mind on not doing Tidal Wave.

Good to know that there's still a chance of us getting Armada Blurr even if it's still slim.

I imagine the biggest factor for their selecting Cybertron Metroplex over Tidal Wave is the reuse of the G1 Metroplex name to try and rope in G1 collectors - the same reason they named him that back in 2005.

If this tidal wave nonsense is really true, hasbro must’ve gotten a LOT of complaints from dumbass parents about how little Timmy lost his Broadside or seaspray in a river trying to get the damn things to float.

Really hope metroplex is successful enough to force hasbro’s hand

If that really is the reason they haven't done a Tidal Wave, just make him a spaceship that happens to borrow a lot of aesthetics from a regular ship a la the Space Battleship Yamato or SDF-1 Macross.

That’s practically how they did him in armada and energon too. They never let his alt mode restrict him to water only environments. Such a simple workaround

I'd love to see a new TFA Blurr in Legacy, but I think I'd be more disappointed in how he'd end up stripped of all his sleek curves, even worse than poor Legacy Knock Out.

I hate getting into and out of the Walmart parking lots near me (and the stores themselves aren't much better), but I've got to get me a Cosmos (and a Burnout and Override). I hope we can all find him without too much hassle. (Fuck you in advance, scalpers.)

    Edit:
One release with the G1 cartoon head, one release with the Cyberverse head? The G1 minibot toy didn't have much of a face to begin with, so I don't know how they'd use that.

If any of the RiD15 cast has a chance of making it into Legacy, it'd have to be Strongarm and probably Steeljaw.

Ok we’ve played the game. Someone guessed the mold. Time to spill the beans as to which one was correct.

SS86 Blurr's exaggerated chin was actually a reference to TFA Blurr, allowing him to double as both G1 Blurr and a G1ified Animated Blurr

Considering Tidal Wave spent the vast majority of his time in alt mode flying rather than floating on water, I can’t see why they couldn’t just call his vehicle a hovercraft or spaceship. Completely ridiculous if that rumor is true.

Also, if we miss out on getting Armada Blurr, I’ll be incredibly disappointed. That design deserves a good toy.

Well 3 credible leakers have said for it to be true so far (and other stuff like we haven't gotten a single water-based TF since 2017 seems to line up with it).

And I wouldn't say it's the most bizarre thing Hasbro has ever done if it is true.

Alright so Cosmos isn't a totally new mold.

If that's the case imma have to guess Warpath. Since both have arms and legs that become the lower half of the alt mode and their heads hide in their torsos that becomes the upper half.

As long as it's good that's all I care about honestly. We'll just have to wait and see though.

Or people can just be patient for once, so thier hopes aren’t to high or crushed, because a lot can change between the figures reveal and info from 9 months ago.
