But both are slightly bent, and show that they come to his general knee area. I can think of one person on these threads who would have an apoplectic fit about the exact position they come to, but the issue people raise about the length isn't of the same type.

Those people want his hands to fall just below his hips like a human. In the toon, which this aims for, they come to around his knees. Whether that's top of kneecap area or bottom, it's that general area. Not the top of the thigh. That's the point here.

People that don't like that adherence to the toon image can wait for FT. But given the part of alt mode the arms create, and FT's bigger Movie bots, I'm not convinced. Either that or you get a much stubbier alt mode (and people would complain about that, then).

 

Not sure what you deem to be "hips"- but just pointing out that normal human proportions put the hands around what I'd describe as mid thigh, well below what is typically considered the hips. Just a point of accuracy is all. Although I'm suspicious hip is same as thigh in our discussion.  

 

My fingertips are only few inches short of my knees. This seems legit.

I usually buy two of a figure. Bot and alt mode display at the same time purposes. Combiners and multi-changers are rough sometimes. That's why I tend to be very selective when it comes to buying newer versions of characters I already have figures for. Sure, I could sell the older versions but they're already paid for. New ones have to be really good or personal favorites. And while I like Magnus, I don't think I like this Magnus. Smaller, still no core robot. More than I paid for either Citizen Stack or MP Magnus Now, lopsided upper and lower proportions.

 

I see. I thought u might mean buying both Ultra Magnus + Delta version = $400.

I might be swayed by a proper Shattered Glass skull face for Delta but it would have to really sell the figure and not just be a head that doesn't fit the style of the figure plopped on the body.

FT teased a Devy a while ago but nothing ever came of it, wouldn't it be something if FT brought it back to life to needle XTB? What if KFC/XTB put a Transistor 2.0 up for PO by the end of the year? I'm waiting for TT to do a Soundwave 2.0 which will hopefully pave the way for its own version of Blaster.
