This looks like one of those cheap dollar store off brand toys

Rung and Getaway came out in the last year, Chromedome and Tesarus appear to be just over a year though.

Anyone see if there were grifters left? Will they go up on A3U?

Are there any reviews available yet? Does this iteration have any of the quality issues of the Hellion 2.0? I've wanted this mold for a while, and this would be a great opportunity if it's a good quality release.

I'm really curious to see some reviews as well. I was so excited about Hellion Alternative and/or Imp because I missed the original release and really wanted a copy of this mold, and was really disappointed to hear all the issue that Hellion Alternative had. I also just watched TMReviews's video on Imp:

Incredibly disappointed to see that this version of the mold seems even worse than Hellion Alternative. I was thinking of rolling the dice on Grifter last night, but after seeing that video I definitely want to see a review first. It sounds like the plastic quality on Imp is terrible, which is really unexpected for MMC - I have a ton of their figures, and the materials always feel really nice and sturdy. Heck, I just got their Medicus (aka First Aid) recently, and he feels great, one of my favorite figures in a while.

Just noticed that ToyDojo has Grifter in stock. As much as I want a version of this mold, and as much as I like that bright yellow color, I'm really put off by the reports of bad plastic and bad tolerances for Hellion Alt and Hellion Imp. Is anyone gonna be brave enough to risk it?

Anyone buy Grifter and can share their review or any issues on the figure? Seems like most of the interest in the recolors of Hellion was Imp.

Having Hellion 1.0, I have had bad taste in my mouth and was an unfortunate assembly issue at the factory (two rights or lefts of the lower door piece) that took 2 or more months to resolve. As others said, MMC has some great products and love this mold.

Shitty picture but best I can be bothered to do tonight.

    IMG_20220401_230659.jpg

Quick review; not great. Paint jobs fine, could of used another coat on some parts. Feels kind of flimsy, the joints are fine but eh, something feels off. Tabs for the legs to lock in don't so their held up purely by friction. Face is painted but helm isn't meaning it has that cheap yellow plastic look to the helm even if it's decent quality plastic but the face sculpt itself is fine. Again, paint would've solved that helm issue. He poses and stands OK but not all too stable, don't know if it's mould degradation or something or a problem with the design itself but he's easy to fall over. Also have a few sprew marks on the black plastic, mainly on the legs and waist area which is just lazy. We'll I'm assuming sprue marks, might be flash or something, not sure but it's visible in hand.

Not transforming tonight as can't face it but so far I'd give a 5 to 6 out of 10. Not worth the price of entry, I mainly grabbed him as I was a little unhappy of the lack of paint on the X-Transbots Hubcap. Of the two moulds I have to give it to the X-Transbots even with the horrible backpack and lack of paint on the torso. Better priced, better material, a transformation not unbearable. This guy, well, he's what he is; a quick release for an easy bit of cash. He's not horrible but he's definitely lacking. If you just want to complete a collection and not a figure to mess with maybe get him but I'd wait for a sale or something. Or just grab the X-Transbots version or hold out for a Fans Toys release.

Can anyone speak to this figure? We have a fairly negative review here in the thread, and one of Imp by TMReviews , but I haven't really seen any other thoughts. I like the look of this mold, and love MMC products, but these 2 (admittedly only 2) reviews seem quite damning.
