Okay I see! I have had my DNA kit for some time now. I got mine from TCP and it was shipped right on the estimated date they gave. I believe I had to pay $7 shipping for that order, but to me: it was worth it since I really wanted the kits. I hope you guys get yours soon if you have been waiting that long. I really only order from BBTS if I absolutely have to now and if I'm okay with waiting. They have great customer service and prices are normally fair...but most of the time I can find the item elsewhere for faster and sometimes cheaper. But I guess that's just how it is. Lol
Back in February when they put both the SS and MPM kits. If this was anything else I would be fine waiting but this kit is pretty much necessary for Ironhide.
I can't say I blame you one bit. I missed out on the first release and could not find it ANYWHERE online for about a year. When I saw those preorders up, I pounced upon them like a rabid dog. Haha
Everybody here should get the black mamba version of Ironhide. The kit is a fix but the figure is still a polished turd after. BM version fixes most key issues: 1. Feet toes and kibble fold away for car mode 2. Chest hood halves lock in completely so you can move the arms without the entire figure exploding 3. Roof and wind shield kibble moved to the proper shoulder kibble area from the tricep area and on a ball joint to allow posing it and not hinder arms. Also this makes Transformation infinitely easier. 4. Cannons with light up features
The lesson I’ve learned over the past year is to always preorder DNA Design kits if you’re even remotely interested. Worst case you can resell for the same or more than you paid, and they’re almost always worth the money.
Bloody hell, you lucky dudes. The pins connecting Ironhide's arms(the whole of them, including the cat front parts) are floppy as shit, and they keep falling off... Any way to fix this issue? Also I lost a fricking pin, so the connection's even shittier...
On eBay when the DNA one was out of production. But, you can get the DNA kit on BBTS. the 3D printed one was $50 and the DNA was like $35.. If you want it printed one, I'll sell you mine. But you'll need to wait 3 weeks, I'm out of town
Do you still have the 3D printed one? Also have to post this as I might never get the front grill this good again. Finally figured out the peg on the left side of the windshield was too big for the hole. "That's what she said!"
Yup, forgot to mention that earlier thank you. Since there are 2 on each side. 1 on left is broken but the other one (on left) is intact so it still tabs in perfectly.
Easy chset fix. You need 1 hole part, and one peg part (each side), and glue. On the last picture there are 2 MPM Ironhides: left side modification made on the windshield to remove them from the arms, and the 2 extra parts for the chest, on Right side MPM + DNA kit
