They announced the Reformatted exclusive first TFcon Los Angeles 2022 exclusive Mastermind Creations Reformatted R-46A Vexo Prominon Alternative

 

He looks good but would have preferred Bumper over Hubcap.

 

What’s the difference?

 

Now that I think about it...I guess just the head. I also already have XTB Hubcap so no need for another.

 

Something shifty about this cat...

 

Hubcap was a slight retool of Cliffjumper released in 1986 with a new head and change to the spoiler with the S3 Minibots. Bumper was the third design with the Bumblebee/Cliffjumper engineering that "was never released" (it was on some Cliffjumper cards, probably in error) in Transformers. Bumper transformed into a Familia (I don't know anything about that car, but can see a difference when side by side with the other cars with this engineering) so some retooling would be necessary since he isn't a Porsche.

EDIT: Front is Hubcap, left is Bumper (was also called Bumblejumper early on), back is Bumblebee, right is yellow Cliffjumper.

Literally right now, this weekend. The opening events are tonight, and the main events tomorrow and Sunday.

 

This feels underwhelming to me. I'm okay with selects.

 

I feel like the only MMC products I've seen announced lately are TFCon exclusives. Have they released anything else at all in the last year? (Where's Eris v2? I ask!)

 

First Aid came out recently, and the G2 Combaticons are in progress. I'm with you though, it's not a ton and I'm very eager to get that Eris once it happens!
