I remember finally getting to try one of those after I found it in an international grocery store. I had been wanting to try one ever since I saw The Transporter.
I used to enjoy ginger ale or root beer when I was younger but nowadays i’m partial to kombucha, a little less sugar, slight bit of alcohol and still some fizziness
My local Dollar General still has a number of bottles of Snapp'd in the cooler. Not sure of the expiration date or if they're regular or Zero Sugar, though. MIKE engledogg
my favorite pop Coke Coke Vanilla Barq's Root Beer Mello Yellow Mr Pibb Mello Yellow Zero RC Cola Shasta/Surfine stuff mostly Dr Wow and grape and root beer
I found a few cans at a local comic book store. I tried it again and...yeah...not as good as the first time I tried it. But I think it's probably behind on the expiration date now, unfortunately.
Yep, I checked out the exp. date yesterday - it was 1/21/22. They're usually very good about removing expired merchandise from the store. I guess these slipped through the cracks, somehow. MIKE engledogg
I choose to avoid excess sugar and I can't drink caffeine because of a medical condition. My options are very slim. There was a time when I could still find cans of caffeine free diet Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew. But now, the only options I can find that are diet caffeine free are Coke, Pepsi, Root Beer, Sprite, and 7 Up.
Diet Rite offers caffeine free options, but those might be somewhat regional in nature. Amazon.com : Diet Rite Soda, 12 Ounce (12 Cans) : Grocery & Gourmet Food
Regionally, you and I aren't far apart. I forgot about Diet Rite. I see it around some places but it's not common. I remember not liking it when I was a kid but maybe I should give it a try again. At this point, I'd be happy for some other options.
Supposedly, DR makes a variety of flavors but the only one that shows up in our neck of the woods is the cola.
Delaware Punch. It was my favorite non-carbonated childhood soft drink which disappeared back in the early 80's. It tastes like fruit punch with grape being the most dominant flavor. There's no other fruity drink like it. I suppose Hawaiian Punch would come closest, but it's not close. Several years ago, my wife and I went to Atlanta for a vacation, and we went to the Coke Factory and did the tour, which had drink testing fountains at the end. It included Delaware Punch along with a whole host of drinks under the Coke umbrella. DP tasted just the way I remembered as a kid, so I looked online afterwards and FeeBay and Amazon had it, so I purchased several 12 packs. For whatever reason, it's not sold in the US anymore and the Coke Factory won't let you buy the syrup bag (I asked). As such, I only drink my remaining cans on special occasions. I think it's only sold in Honduras or some latin country. I just did some research and learned that Coke stopped production of DP in 2020 per the pandemic. They also recently stopped production of my favorite Root Beer, Barq's. Coke SUCKS!!!
Mr Pibb, easily. If that's not available Dr. Pepper is a close second. Recently I've been enjoying some of the Mountain Dew flavors, especially Voltage.
