Try Fans Hobby's Naval Commander (3rd Party Armada Optimus Prime). Will ease that pining right away. I just got him a few days ago and I am blown away by the quality.
I gotta be honest. Ever since we lost the Legends line I've not really seen much reason to care for these scans seeing as they're mostly now just the same toys Hasbro puts out but months late to the initial reveals where most people probably already know about them, including the Japanese collectors. Only stuff I keep a look out for are when new shots of upcoming MP figures are put out in these.
For what? If you wanted an IDW-accurate figure you got the Takara Legends version. (Although the T30 mould is way worse than the Legacy one).
I mean, I have Crosscut. Hesitant to look up Gen Skids because I'm dreading how much his aftermarket price's gotten cranked up.
I'll be putting my Generations Skids up on ebay once I have Legacy Skids in hand and confirm which one I like better. And I'm sure a lot of other collectors will be doing the same too!
I second this. That Armada Prime prototype was top of my wants, but it's clear at this point that Hastak aren't going to put it out. Fans Hobby is picking up the slack big time. Their Megatron (Meg-Tyranno) just released as well, and they've shown prototypes for Overload and Tidal Wave. I believe Jetfire has been confirmed too but don't remember for sure.
Those other Armada bots would be sweet. Would be able to form Prime's Aramada train (i.e. Trailer pulling Overload with Jetfire on top). Sweeeeeet.
