Just finished my set yesterday. Got everything including the UK figures, with the EXCEPTION Queen Playset. So... nearly finished.

Was happy to get everything MISB or Carded for very cheap. Guess they are low demand.

Wow, what a blast from the past.
Seems that, at the time, I had a relative who worked for the distributing company/factory for toys in Hong Kong. In a bag full of GIJoes, I also got some of these Kenner Aliens stuff too. I knew a little bit of Aliens at the time (I was like... 10-11 years old), but never watched the movies back then.

Still in my parents' basement today, packed along with my old G1 TFs, are:
    - 2x Scorpion Alien
    - Gorilla Alien
    - Killer Crab Alien (whom I always thought was the queen)
    - Mantis Alien (I also thought this one was a queen, albeit with dancing arm action!)

Nostalgia overload. I loved these as a kid. I always wanted one of the vehicles but my parents said they were too expensive

    Ok.

I'm selling all my aliens in a lot.

    They are as follows:
King Alien (silver version no figure)
    Alien Queen (non playset version)
Hive Alien (electronic, Not sure if the batteries work)
    Mantis Alien
    Boar Alien
    Flying Alien Queen
    Scorpion Alien
    Gorilla Alien
    Arachnid Alien
    Bull Alien (missing a horn)
All their comics are included, except for the Bull Alien, Flying Queen, King (this one doesn't come with a comic), or Arachnid, again, because it doesn't come with one. Their face huggers are included, except for the same ones I described above.

Good offers for the lot anyone? I definitely want more than $50, since they are all in top notch condition, except for Bull and the Hive Alien I'm not sure about. I could keep those two.

I had the Scorpion Alien as a kid, was one of my favourite toys, not sure what happened to it. These are awesome toys, I really like how they made them really quite crazy and bright coloured and the marines have suitably large weaponry!

I've owned two of these over the years.
The first one was the Red Facehugger I got at a garage sale and ended up donating to charity (I seem to do that a lot) as well as a Spitter.

Sure doesn't seem to be as cheap as they used to. Vasquez in particular costs way more than the other ones - probably because she's the only one who comes with the pulse rifle.

Got a crazy good deal on a carded Vasquez, far too good to pass up. Unfortunately the blister had already come so loose that you could easily remove everything from the packaging, so I wasn't able to make a comical unboxing video about it - or perhaps fortunately, since I wouldn't really have had the means to do so anyway.

I also picked up this Night Cougar Alien from the same seller, also carded, and I now kinda wish I'd bought one more figure.

one might never suspect, -being the Weeb that i clearly am today- that back in the early-90's i was a perfectly typical boy, TOTALLY into ALIENS
(i still consider the two originals two of the very best films ever made) and had much, if not most of that old KENNER toy line,
    including the PREDATOR/ALIEN two-pack and the QUEEN/NEST figure/playset.

still have the collection in storage, and, over a decade back, had to dispose of, -and clean-out the can- of "OOZE" compound that came with the QUEEN set,
as it was obviously chemically deteriorating, giving off the most lethal sort of funk in the process...

I got the Queen Hive as well, that I still haven't opened beyond checking the contents. The can of slime is still sealed too, but I'm pretty sure that's a total writeoff at this point.

I actually have a particular memory of becoming aware of not just this toyline but the franchises in general through spotting them in a particular store, which was the only place I'd ever seen them being sold in. It's been decades mind you and that store has moved an reorganized and renamed, probably multiple times since then, but I remember the store being quite unusual too as they clearly had way more floor space than they had inventory, with a lot of empty shelves not because of lack of stocking but because they were simply not utilized, and for some reason it was located in what was otherwise a low industrial zone, everything else was factory outlets at most. I just wish I could remember exactly what figures they had on pegs then.

Really liked the Power Loader. One of the coolest things from the movie.

Managed to get these two for non-stupid prices as well. Now Hudson's the only really pricey Aliens toy I'm missing.

I though the wild boar Alien was just a lazy part swap from the Panther mold, similar to Mantis Alien reusing the torso from the Gorilla Alien, but turns out it's a complete retool with all original parts. I think the spring-loaded forelegs causing the head to tilt forward are the only carryover from that mold.

I've thought about picking up the Operation: Aliens action figure collectors case, but one thing I haven't been able to find out is if it's supposed to come with two or just one of those vacuformed trays.

I have the one they made for Star Trek TNG but the trays are completely different, the one that the Aliens comes with just has two big sections, top and bottom.

Do a review of different closed and open listings on eBay and note the pictures. If it ever had two trays, somebody is probably selling it that way.

upload_2024-1-14_9-11-53.png I saw on Facebook that Kenner (well Hasbro) was going to make a drop ship toy but it was never released. I would have bought that. Loved the drop ship.
