That's pretty much where I'm at. The only post-Endgame MCU movies I've watched have been the two Spider-Man sequels. I feel up to Endgame, my MCU Blu-ray collection has come to a beautiful end.

The MCU. I haven’t watched any of them post Endgame except Far From Home (and I do want to see No Way Home, when I get the chance). But other than that, it just felt like Endgame was a good stopping point and the 2 Spidey sequels since then are just a nice epilogue. But I just don’t feel the same hype for it all anymore. 14 years is a long time for anyone to follow a story!

I did watch the Loki show though, and liked it well enough.

The Young Turks and all their sister shows. Without getting into politics, I realized that they’re just as bad as all the Tucker Carlson’s of the world. They just want their viewers to be constantly mad and angry & I’ve had more than enough of those kinds of “journalists.”

I agree about the MCU. Phase 4 has been total crap and the only D+ show I've watched is Hawkeye and it was terrible.

Me and the wife have dropped all remaining arrowverse shows. They all started out as a show with a main character, then added supporting cast who also became heroes, and when everyone is a hero...no one is a hero. They all did this, except legends of tomorrow. It was an action show season 1 then immediately became woke garbage.

I might be done with super hero films. The new The Batman really sucked except for the Riddler. Too much fake virtue signaling, and most of it was boring. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it (used free movie passes).

I stopped buying digital comics because of the recent murder of comixology. I went back to the old app version, disabled Updates and now I will finish reading my books the way I used to. Once I finished my comixology books, I go back to cb7, cbz, cbr. Maybe someone else will step in and give us back what Amazon took from us. Or maybe Amazon will roll the changes back. Audible also is not integrated into Amazon that way, nor should it be. Same with comixology.

I stopped watching the news and listening to NPR for good around the time of the Zika virus horseshit..things have only deteriorated further since then, lol...

I cut way down on sugary sodas a long time ago...it's real bad for your teeth...plus, it's a lot of sugar I don't need in my diet...

I've stopped watching certain Youtubers when they started incorporating their political views into their toy/fandom related videos

I stopped reading or watching The Walking Dead many years ago when Kirkman said there would never be a true ending and we'd never learn what started it.

i haven’t seen the show, but i bet it’s bad. i bet we agree the politics are bad but from opposite sides of the coin.
just wanna touch on superhero shows not being used to push “personal agendas”. all art is political, whether it’s about politics or not. they reflect the times and culture they were produced in. supergirl has writers and directors that have a lived perspective that would show thru their work. not a tv show but something like the dark night returns is very politically symbolic and most definitely reflects the attitudes and ideas of frank miller the writer. i feel like it learns more towards your worldview so you wouldn’t complain if there was a frame-for-frame tv adaption of that.
if you write something it’s going to inherently be colored by the culture and politics that surround you. if you make a conscious effort to make sure there’s no bleed thru, that seems like kind of a personal agenda right? the quality of the writing and follow thru on the politics within the show is one issue, i bet it sucks really hard. but like comic books have been used to push “personal agendas” super hard since always

I'm with you. I see Avengers Endgame as the end, with Spiderman Far From Home and No Way Home as sort of a 2 movie encore.

American Restoration, when the History Channel did Dale and crew dirty by suddenly revamping the show from being about neatass antiques being restored to a Pimp My Ride knockoff without telling them ahead of time.

Will smith just proved that anyone who is rich and famous can physically assault someone on live television and get away with it. I don’t dislike/hate will smith, but I honestly won’t ever watch anything he does probably ever again. I’m not boycotting, just going to shrug and change the channel.

I'm cutting soda out entirely. I guess it's a good thing I hardly drink it anyway.

I can feel you on the TF stuff. I’m an MP/3P collector and have most tot the characters I want now. Yeah, I’ll see that they’re remaking a character with a better sculpt, but how many times can I pay 200-300 for a slight improvement? I ditched my MP seekers for Maketoys, which are great, minus the faces. Do I need to spend 900 bucks to get the new MP or Deformaton Space? Not really feeling it. The combiners and 3PMP headmasters are the things keeping me around in the TF space. But even then, the prime choices are depleting and it feels like the wrong stuff is being made. Maketoys never made two of the autobot headmasters. Fanstoys decided to start making them… by announcing a figure Maketoys already did, not one of the ones they left out. Do I care enough to wait 2-3 years for Highbrow and Brainstorm?

much like how you’ve shifted to trains, I’ve been shifting towards anime figures and model kits

I recently completely eliminated my daily monster energy/red bull habit by switching to gfuel. It's smoother energy for about a dollar a serving, less if you get it on sale. I regret not switching sooner. Bacon wife is even getting her some flavors that mix well with milk.
