Same as those busts another artist made a bit back.  Thew showed off a couple.  Bumblebee was still a rapper (guess that\'s his edgy urban thing) and Megatron was the graffiti artist, which would play of Optimus so well.  No fighting, just painting over each other\'s work.

 

I hate to say it.... but that is pretty much everything Transformers. Including the mainline toys.

I really like the Bee. Would like it more if he wasn't a rapper. Still, it's a neat design. Might get that one.

While I don't mind the Prime, he doesn't have the same charm.

 

I like the Optimus one a lot, gives me Jet Set Radio vibes

Stuff for the sake of stuff is kind of what collectibles are, dude. They're not particularly useful. They're toys--expensive toys for adults to look at and fiddle with. Stuff for the sake of stuff. People who make collectibles are trying to make stuff that people with disposable income will want.

Those were by Quiccs, and they were better than these. I really wanted the Soundwave one. It was the bomb, but they were just busts and not full on figures.

I was kind of sad that the graffiti artist wasn't Ravage, who in IDW was canonically arrested multiple times for graffiti. On the other hand the designs (especially Soundwave) were kind of strongly Cyberverse influenced them.

 

So you quote my post about graffiti and vandalism with a cynical response then you go on to state you wish the graffiti artist Prime was actually Ravage because you enjoy the fact that Ravage was arrested several times in the IDW cannon for illegal graffiti.

Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

Ravage's tags were acts of protest against the corrupt functionist government that was killing and brutalising people like Ravage. I think they're great! <3 <3 <3

I like graffiti--if it's actually well done, expressive street art, and not just twelve year olds of all ages drawing genitals on any available blank space.

I also really, really like Decepticons. Especially Soundwave and Ravage.
