Finally put mine up on the Beast Wars shelves. A larger one would have been epic but he looks pretty enough as is. I always preferred Primal in a smaller body

It is.
Once people started catching on, he sold off the 4/5 sets of moulded parts he had been using to create the illusion of a production so I bought one with the full intent of opening a PayPal claim after it arrived and providing all the evidence of a scam.
That worked a treat so I got the parts for free. Just wish I’d done the same with his Scorponok mold. There’s less than a handful of those out there but I’ve never seen what the few buyers have been able to turn them into.
The ‘kits’ take a lot of work to produce something worthwhile but I’d totally still buy those parts now if anyone around here has them and cba to go through the hassle.

Finally got my copy in today. After ol' Bobby's review, I was a touch worried about it being a floppy mess, but there's isn't a floppy joint on it. The hip ratchets could be a touch stronger, but they do the job of holding him up just fine. It would be nice if the shoulder cannons/bot mode head mount would tab in a touch more securely, but it's not a huge issue. I'm pretty happy with Big Bot.

 

Sold my OG Optimal today to get this. I have mine on order from ShowZ and waiting for it to show up now. This looks like an epic figure.

Happy for those who want this. I’d be interested to see him repainted in OG Primal’s colour scheme now.
The bright blue and orange combined with OpOp’s whacky proportions all add up to make him one of the ugliest designs to come out of Beast Wars- but the toy was a blast.

 

Hopefully apeling abd cataclysm aren't that far behind... maybe tigatron with a resculpted ravage head.

I've never really cared for Primal Prime and slapping that deco on a $140 figure really highlights everything i don't like about it.

Yeah, size is the only real draw back on this piece... also, not a huge fan of the exposed beast head on the back pack. But hopefully we get the optimal megatron face with this guy.

 

I know size is by far the most common complaint with this mold, but as a primarily CHUG collector I'm really happy with his size, although I still question why he's numbered with the same scheme as their mp figures
