For 280 something from Oh My Primus, I’m trying to get the payment through but there is something up between my papa pal and their software. So in the meantime I want to know how he QC of this rebuilder set with the bronze gun is.

 

My ReBuilder (non chrome) came with the regular devi gun, rather than the gold Meg gun, which it was pictured with. Not sure of that was a mistake or they ran out of gold guns and started packing the other ones. Checking with seller.

 

Otherwise is the build good? Good QC?

 

I've gotten mine and I'm pretty happy with it. The build quality seems good, no breaks or paint chipping. It came with Megasorry which is a model kit that is painted a bronze color not gold. I've re-painted all the pieces a gold metallic and now I'm waiting for it to dry before attempting to put it together.

 

I haven't had time to really check it out, other than counting fingers and toes.

So I got this set from TCP on Black Friday.
It arrived. It did not come with a bronze Megatron- just a regular weapon. Which is fine.
A couple small parts floating around in a bag or 2.

Here is what really surprised me:
I have the NBK simplified KO. I thought this was an OSKO set.

This Generation Toy version is every bit as large as that NBK.
For the sake of my case I thought- and hoped- this set was a little smaller.

Had I known the NBK I already had was the same size as the one I was gonna get... there’s a good chance I wouldn’t have pulled the trigger. The official looks a little nicer, but the NBK was filling that Devastator hole just fine. I thought the GT would be significantly better. It’s only a little better at $290.

 

These guys have danced their way through my collection being displayed in all 3 modes with different scales. This has been my favorite spot.

definitely my favorite “toy” devestator. As in I enjoy transforming and combining. And converting them doesn’t feel like I’m adding wear and possibly breaking something brittle.


anyone know of a prowlestator upgrade kit for combined mode?

 

i got mine today,but without the normal face for combiner,so does this set come with only angry face ?. i mean gt99dx

 

That sucks though. Maybe can buy the Daban KO Hook just for the normal Devy face.

What were the differences between the NBK set and GT Gravity Builder, on the fence of which one to order including the Jinbao one.

 

The NBK feels like KO, there are some simplifications. Fun for custom projects but it isn’t as solid as Gravity Builder.

The Jinbao one is an oversized version. There are some stability issues because of the size but it still an impressive set.

 

I finally got this set a few months ago off a friend, part of scraper has snapped though (near the hinge that the drivers cab is connected to the arm that moves it round) i can glue it but I’m worried about longevity

how easy is it to contact GT for replacement parts?

Nice and welcome! Are you considering getting the upgrade kit as well? Adds a bit of height and some extra weaponry. I have the set and sat on it for so long before installing. Wondered why I ever waited. I felt it gave the combined mode better proportions. Not as stable, but I will usually not touch my set much once their positioned and displayed. So works for me.

 

How do yours have a more blue'ish purple? I hate the maroon on my set.
