Agreed the MP market ... and g1 market, is really destroying what they call niches. Like no one tackle idw BW or Cyberverse figures (some designers have but they're for 3d printing only.) So many people talk negative if something is legend, legend+, chug, chug+... I am glad to see how people are getting excited for HOS, would love MMC to make last years April Fools optus pexus retool Optus Loco joke as a real toy.
I mean to be honest if I could have all my MPs, has/taks g1, bw, bm, UT, tfa, tfp, rid2015, cv figures in legendary scale... I would sell the orginal (chug / MPs) all off and only keep the legendaries.

I mean 2 years ago MMC IF Eris:Kultur was an April Fools joke... that actually became a real figure. Sooooo there's always a chance of a Optus Loco.

And there was that one year they April Fools a legend scale HOS starscream seeker. That was never made... but now there maybe hope.

 

If they can pull these designs off (and as an owner of all of their triple changers I think they can), I'm in on this trio. Pretty smart choice to go with the Insecticons as well since the only others who have touched on the Hearts of Steel designs as far as I know (MMC and someone else perhaps?) only did Bumblebee, Shockwave, and the Seekers.

 

A couple of more MMC April Fools "reveals" I understand why they never did the Hexatron in Carnafex colors one, but I admit some disappointment we never got the Megatron sniper rifle from their Vos (I think thats the rifle) mold.

MMC Also did Optimus and a couple of repaints of it, Knight Morpher Commander.

 

I know this company primarily does small figures, but if there was any one figure for them to do in CHUG or MP scale this is it.

Mechanic Studio says the rails of the track accessory are 4cm apart.

I don't have my Astro handy to see if that works with him, but in my mind it will be just a hair oversized.
