If this isn't a Takara release don't get high hope's got BWs. Them ignoring a Primal reissue for the anniversary when, he's going well over MSRP would not be a good sign. Hopefully Takara plans to announce this next month, when they have one of their multiple reveal things.

 

I feel like this may just be a thing to cover up the loss of no releases this year. Cause we have 2022 getting nearer and nearer and the only recent MP BW fig released was Tigatron, which came out a year ago at this point back in September of 2020.

 

But, naturally, they didn't cause Takara

 

Not sure if anyone posted this, but Hasbro Pulse has this guy up for Pre-Order too. I have NEVER had any problems with them in many of my Transformers orders. Although I have never ordered a masterpiece figure from them. Price is $139.99 which is pretty fair/better than the other guys. I would have jumped on this if I didn't already have 3 of the 1st version. Still makes me wonder what improvements they made.
Good luck to anyone that orders this, it is still my favorite MP mold (looks great and the transformation is simple).

Transformers Takara Tomy Masterpiece MP-32 Beast Convoy (Optimus Prima – Hasbro Pulse

 

I have pre-ordered MP-32 on HasbroPulse because I can't find the legit version anywhere online. Everything online looks like the KO version. The bad thing is the reissue isn't released until June 2022 so does anybody know if the real thing still exists online somewhere?

 

The KO is on up on ShowZ. I just ordered him. The listing says it comes with Batteries so I am guessing it also includes the light up eyes. I like this color set more and glad I waited for it.

Your best bet at this point is to look for listings at Mandarake or Jungle, sometimes Amiami’s preowned section will have unopened, but previously owned MP’s. Across the 3 I haven’t seen this version of MP Primal in a while, mostly just the burning red and MP-38 version.

 

Question for the original (And the reissue if it’s stand compatible too): Given the usage of “Bandai Tamashii Nations Act 5” ports, is Optimus Primal compatible with Blackarachnia’s stand, or do you need an SH Figuarts for that?

 

He is, I originally used to display mines on the tracks stand and that's the same as Blackarachnia's just a different base

I'm a bit late to this but good lord.. the reissue is priced at $150 bucks (US retail)??? I remember picking this up at US retail for only $110 (or less than that). Great figure but the price jump is crazy. I wonder if there are any additional improvements in this reissue (not that the original release has any major issues but it'd be interesting).

 

Quite the price increase, but MP Optimus Primal is one of the best MP's ever made.

iirc, Cheetas was already given a second pressing.

 

Think it will be awhile before the next Cheetor reissue. It was pretty readily available and cheap over there for a while.
