A little over 30cm, about 12 inches tall at the head. And his total wing span is around 57cm, 22 and a half inches.

But with this toy I doubt you'd have him posed exactly with the head fully raised and the wings fully spread.

ha ha...speak for yourself. i can't display mine any other way. he is simply too majestic and such beautiful fig. not having him fully open hurts my heart.

ps...is there any chance we can get a completely murdered out stealth mode space chicken? i think that could be the most amazing thing ever if he was fully blacked out.

I’d like to know too, I passed the 1st time around but preordered and dropped $100 on him at TCP recently. It’s the best option out there for now and although he’s not quite MP scaled he’ll work for me at least for now.

And will the re-release actually be able to keep his head up? I sold my version of the first release, because his neck was so weak, it was like he was without a neckjoint.

Yeah thats a great follow-up. Ive heard about this and it is a concern. So much so that i dont have it on po right now. I want it but ill wait til we start seein some reviews if mmc cant confirm they did anything to fix that. Almost 300 bucks for a toy that cant hold his head up wont keep me as a customer for long if at all

I have mine already paid off but may hold off on actually shipping it for some in-hand reports on the neck. I did hear that a few screws only needed to be tightened to get the neck to work properly but I'd rather have it good right out the gate.

In my copy the problem was all the way into his body, where the first neckjoint was connected to the torso, which meant taking the entire dragonbird apart, just to get there. The juice just wasn't worth the squeeze.

Why is the dragonbird part pancaking so much? Looks more like a Manta Ray draped over a shopping container

Why would they make another version? Wouldn't you be better off waiting for another company? Has MMC even done more than one version of the same character? I don't think they have.

Wow. Seeing the animation model static really does it no favors whatsoever. Being in motion on screen really helps hide the flaws. Was Dery deliberately trying to avoid replicating the space shuttle too closely, for trademark reasons perhaps? Or was it just his usual oversimplification at play here?

This makes Sky Lynx look like a Playskool toy!

There were basically zero trademarking/copyrighting issues with "government" designs in the 80's. You could make all the submarines, fighter planes, and spacecraft you wanted. Boeing etc deciding they could charge for the designs they made on behalf of the government is a more recent thing.
