Yeah, not a great p2p, but we've yet to see whether he's got a light brick or any specialised pieces, so it could come out better than it seems.

Now if LEGO would get the G.I. Joe license, I would be so happy. I know they have a policy against tanks and stuff, but I'd take a wave of a CMF line and build the vehicles myself.

Lego's policy on war and violence related things is very... inconsistent to say the least. They were going to do some sort of osprey aircraft, only to back out a few weeks before release because they realised its most common usage was in the military or something. And then they have a huge line of Star Wars sets recreating a vast array of sci-fi murder machines, so...

I’m very skeptical about this info. We’ve already had a few Lego rumors and listings that turned out to be fake this year (DC Tower of Fate, Knights of Valor, Legend of Zelda). I’d be very surprised if this was real, quite honestly.

Yep, LEGO has been practicing with this idea in some of their other lines.

Given the engineering that'll take, I'm guessing the price relative to part count is because of count and kind of piece.

Very curious to see this. The premium sets they've been making lately are top notch.

That was from eurobricks. Promobricks is way more reliable.

It's possible it'll carry the RotB sub-brand even if it's not a version from that film. But that's nothing new from LEGO crossovers.

One of the new Jurassic Park Dominion sets is diorama re-creating a scene from the original JP.

True. I’m not doubting Promobricks’s veracity, but I think there’s a chance somebody might have given them dodgy info.

This is quite the shock. I bet Lego has been itching to get their hands on the Transformers license for years, but I never imagined Hasbro would let up on their insistence to have their own buildable brick system

Maybe Hasbro finally realized they'd be making more money by just pairing with Lego instead of trying to make their own lower quality copy

I follow Lego news and leaks and Promobricks has been a consistently reliable leaker for a while now

If this happens I hope they do a Lego Transformers game.

So crazy. It as I was going through one on my Lego emails I was wondering why we didn’t have a Lego Optimus. (Though my answer to myself was “duh, Hasbro “.)

Also, was hoping for a G1 version but oh, well this is likely bought regardless.

While I kinda hope this means we may see more Hasbro / Lego collabs in the future I wouldn't at all be surprised if this was just a one-off promotion for ROTB since IIRC it's not exactly unheard of for Lego to release one-off sets to promote a movie here and there. But hey if we get a good Lego TF build that'd be sweet.
