Dramatic much?

SS transformations are usually pretty intuitive, and for the more complex ones there are these wacky things called instructions that are conveniently packed in the box.

 

You mean Bumblebee movie/Knightverse Shockwave? Because I'm pretty sure the Bayverse Shockwave is in scale.
We will get Springer in the Wreckers line this year which is probably gonna be the SEIGE figure without battle damage. And the twins sound like they will never happen.

Luckily were getting that in the Shattered Glass toyline.

This is transforms fans were talking about remember. Still remember when I saw someone go on about a G1 MP+ WJ test shot with a movie Autobot logo instead of a G1 Autobot logo. That was the first time I even found out the logos were different between G1 and the movies.

 

The head sculpts and detail is really good for a mainstream figure.

 

Could throw purple accents and a Con symbol on him and have darkbee or wasp etc..
 

 

This looks nice. The other positive is that Hasbro has the JEEP license right now...so a new cartoon based Hound may be back on the table?

 

I think its fine for those who didn't get SS Bumblejeep the first time and skipped ROTF SS Bumblebee but still want the Sam figure.

Still waiting for the rest of the ROTF cons though.

 

yes the knightverse shockwave. He was NOT as small as ravage in the movie.

 

I know, and they've said just cause they have a character in Core class doesn't mean they won't get a bigger figure later. And we all know they'll do a bigger one. Even if we didn't know about the rumor of him coming in 2023. So I will wait for that figure.

 

I can only see why people would buy this:
1) Army build for a diorama of that one scene
2) For the sam figure
3) Those who missed out on the mold the first time
Otherwise, this has no real reason to exist.
I will admit tho, the paint job for the jeep mode looks great

 

This line was supposed to be geared toward the older demographic with the intention of making more accurate, in scale figures. They shouldn't be cluttering it with fanfic repaints like this one.

 

IDK about that it being towards a older demographic. It still has 8+ on the box like the WFC figures. It more so those that like the designs or grew up with them are buying/interested in them.

This inn't anything new really since they did those repaints of Lockdown of things that weren't in the movie/in that color or those 2 gold BB's. Honestly, I want more repaints like this. Give me Brawn as Outback, give me Soundwave as Soundblaster, Blaster, and maybe Perceptor. Give me B-127 as Wasp. And even do non-BBM characters in that style.

That being said this is unnecessary but it is also meant for the TF ride/Universal than for retail or anything else.

 

Gotta be the odd guy out again, I kinda love this. Look I loved the n.e.s.t. figures from the rotf line so this is a return to that for me. 

 

Alright, it's unnecessary and not really imaginative, just a grey Bumblebee, but it does look like it would make for a decent generic Autobot trooper. Besides, at least they picked the best Studio Series Bumblebee figure to repaint for this.

 

It would work better if they give it a different head or at least the battle mask face.

 

To be fair, I can see a Tracks/Road Rage out of Wheeljack.

 

Ooh I didn't think of that it could. Honestly if you retool the chast or other parts you can use that mold as other characters as well. Maybe a Sideswipe. Also you could maybe get Crosshairs out of Ironhide/Ratchet like Seige.

 

NEST Bee isn't taking the place of any single figure. It's a single fan channel only figure that apparently was created for a specific weird reason according to the people with inside info. You can easily ignore it and never once see it in your face and it wont hurt you or clutter up the line. lol
