They also consider our misery/satisfaction and look for other shipping alternatives when a company is showing they can't deliver what they promised!

My wife was going to order a metal captain america sheild from 'overseas'... the one that came in the wooden box. But when she saw SAL and remembered me waiting 90 days for my XTB Swarm... she went with an Etsy seller who was in the states.

Speaking of... $#%! I gotta order something for her B-Day!! You'd think buying for a fellow goth/punk/geek/etc would be easy since we both share similar and obscure interests... but 20 years in and now its impossible!!

When I heard S.Z. got rid of SAL, I understood why. I figured this type of shipping uncertainty was behind us!

But look... it's not all doom and gloom. My last two DS Crimson Wing figures came rather quickly, as did my TE-03 Speed Star.. and all used the same YT-shipping!!

This one is doing something a bit different. Unreliably different.

But if I had $600-$700 worth of stuff sitting in some unknown pending state... I'd need to sedate myself!!

no worries mate. 15 days sitting without an update after passing through customs is a first for me. yes. Maybe I am lucky, I suppose. And your two cents is fine. I was more pointing out another member's post which was deleted by a mod. They know who they are and I'll leave it at that. We will still use YunExpress for the next couple of months. But recently it become more and more unstable for us. For some region in US, Yun will still use USPS as the last mile delivery service, while other part of the United States, the carrier change to Pitney Bowes, UDS, which sometimes have some troubles, we even see some buyers report that they did not get the package despite the tracking info says otherwise

I dont know whats going on with my package. Im not sure if USPS has got it or which carrier does. Its been in limbo for 2 weeks.

 

After two weeks of "shipping partner" limbo nonsense, USPS surprised me with Moon Studio Dark Night yesterday. Finally showed up a week after Ice Land although they shipped at the same time. It was the usual excellent packing by ShowZ so the box arrived in mint condition. Great work! Thanks, ShowZ.

 

well in my area the real problem is OnTrac (seems only YunExpress use it, others are using USPS). OnTrac facility is like Unicron swallowing all my transformers since Jan 4th and my most recent Unicron order is also on the way to it!

I've found that a lot of stuff from showz sits for a while domestically, then is delivered out of nowhere.

 

ontrac is pulling some shady shit. I was tracking my package with 17track and it shown arrived at destination (my city). It was in limbo for 2 weeks and the tracking finally updated yesterday to delivered 10 days ago! It changed magically to delivered   I had to call ontrac and open a case.

Are they good at handling this stuff?

 

Not really good luck. They are a small time operation. Theirs a good chance they delivered it but at some odd hours. The last three packages I received from showz came from ontrac and where delivered at 9pm, 11pm, and 6am. They have some crazy hours.
