KitzConcept redesigned VF-1S, available in March:
    1/72 VF-1S ROY FOKKER VERSION 2
    10DC739E-2874-4661-980F-A7A99DB229F1.jpeg

They’re timeless toys IMO, I thought I was over them after getting my 1st Yamato 1/48 VF-1 but I was wrong. Can’t beat ratcheting joints on Valkyries and high levels of detail on 80’s designs.

it would have been swell had BANDAI gone with upscaling their HCM VF-1 design from 1/72 to 1/55 in the mid-80's,
and launching it as a direct successor to the original TAKATOKU design...

There probably won’t be a toy I’m more excited to get until it is released than a squad of battle pods.

It's funny how the look good and I also have no desire for any of them. Between the 1/48, 1/60, and 1/100 stuff that I own of the VF-1, there's just not a great deal of desire for another version at another scale.

It could just be that I'm hitting the end of what I want for the VF-1 in toy form. A new 11B, finally seeing that DX 22 release, and/or getting other lesser produced valks is far more interesting to me than another VF-1.

I am interested to see what ThreeZero puts out and and what price. I only have 4 Arcadia VF-1's the M&M supers and roy/Hikaru Strike 1S's.
Have picked up every Bandai DX 1/60 VF-1 and stayed away from the Hi-Metal line.
But agree that I'd like to see some 11B's as the scheme is the most military next to the 31A Kairos, along with some 17's, 21, 22, and another take on the VF-171 with non exploding triangles.

LMAO I didn't even see this picture, but could already picture it with KC turrible marketing attempt.

@madpanda - I'm certain that Bandai will not do a re-issue of the CF 171EX just yet as they still have to not over complicate stuff (EG: SV-262Hs and the instructions for the 171EX was not clear for the leg transformation as you have rotate the two legs in the opposite direction from each otherwise you end up breaking it [it did actually happen]).

Anyone have experience with the Valkyrie Factory ko 1/60 VF-1s? Considering the Roy with strike packs.

Everything I've seen and read suggests you might have the occasional minor QC issue of fit, joint tightness, etc but overall they're more than good enough for the price.

I'm seeing prices nearing $200 with shipping, is that what you see too or am I looking in the wrong places?

I looked at eBay and Aliexpress, and they’re all in the $200 range after shipping. My understanding is that the figures are generally pretty good overall. And, at the moment, are a hell of a lot less expensive than the official Arcadia figures!

both the clear red/blue parts embedded in the landing gear doors fell off of mine but I was able to glue them back in place, and the hands were installed on the wrong arms from the factory, but otherwise it's almost indistinguishable from my genuine arcadia toys
