The first part of what you just said, Cang's Thunderking is a set of uniqueness. There are collectors out there who every once in a while like go see something different for a change to add to their collection. Cang's preds took that step to change the entire TF collecting game. Hate it or love it, this version of Predaking is not gonna be all G1-ish like people would usually expect. Some areas, but not all. And that's fine. From what I'm seeing, Cang is breaking all the rules of the game and that's why a lot of people love this version of the preds. Cang may be new to the game, but from where I'm standing, they're winning the game, BIG time!! The feet are fine, animal or not. Btw, looking at the pics of Dasirius, he looks more like a demon wolf with red eyes.

My only nitpick with the Lion is I wish he had shoes for feet instead of keeping the lion paws.

The wolf looks pretty good with the color! I hope the other one has some slightly different paint

 

Cang did say that there's gonna be some slight differences between the 2 wolves. We'll see how the paint part goes on that.. And I like the lion paws on him in bot mode. It shows his fierceness lol

Judging off what we've seen with Dasirius earlier, it looks like he won't be coming with any diecast, ay least none that we can see. And if that's the case, then Kinglion would be the only one carrying it in this part of the set. We may be looking at $170-180 at most for these 2. Feels good talking/debating about price. It gives us a good idea on where the price range may go.. Besides, both look badass. But with Dasirius, I don't think that what we saw earlier will be the final color choice. Then again, I may be wrong. If you ask me, right colors, but with some in the wrong places. But that's just me. It said preliminary painting, so I think they may be weighing their options on color choice for the wolves..

 

I hope that with the changes the combined mode can stand perfectly straight.

 

I wasn't around when the first 3 figures went through the process, however, I bought the figures in time to sit through the progress of the final 3 figures of the set and by the looks of it, it shouldn't be a problem. I believe what it was, was a mixture of the solid figures and the prototypes that caused uneven weight distribution for the combined mode. Once ALL the figures are good and solid, there shouldn't be any problems with him standing. By the looks of it, the main 6 plus the wolves are gonna go through a degree of changes to help with that issue..

That wouldn't be a bad idea, however, no matter how much we plead with them, they're gonna do what they want regardless. Just throwing that out there. As far as the colors are concerned, what we saw a couple days ago is only one of the options. Keyword, "preliminary" paint. It's not final. So there's still time before the official shipping date before final colors are chosen for the feet. I wouldn't be surprised if silver and black are somehow involved in the equation. But that's just me. I'll take my chances and roll the dice on this one..

Plenty of 3P companies have made adjustments after consumers spoke out. And I think it's safe to assume the updates that were made to Kinglion over the past few renders gave been due to consumers speaking out.

 

I'm not gonna argue nor do I refuse to, however, I'm just gonna say that we'll see what happens with the progress of Dasirius (x2) and see how the final result turns out before being set to be released and just leave it at that. Besides, we still have Thorilla & the rhino left to worry about, right?.. The only 2 remaining members of the set. Then, there's the rest of "Thundermini" too..
