it's accurate but not to masterpiece level, compare this and the old design closer and you'll see it

 

Fanshobby make Masterpiece-scale figures but they are rarely “accurate”. They nearly always take some creative liberties with their designs.

 

I could see dark starsaber team being a nice pack-in with Tidal Wave at this point

 

I’m attempting to make a 3D handle adapter for the original Starsaber that is compatible with Optimus and hopefully Megatron. Early stages but out of curiosity how much interest from people here? If there’s a lot I’ll try and do something for the Skyboom and Requiem blaster teams as I have them.

Megatron went from Hong Kong to Belgium to France in like 30 something hours. Absolutely ridiculous, wouldn’t be surprised if this guy is blasting down my door on Monday morning at this rate. Naval Commander took 5 days over a weekend as well, which was earlier than the week they estimated. Saying Wednesday 5th but I genuinely think it’ll be early

Hong Kong to the UK in two days with no customs charges!

First impressions are fantastic, he doesn’t feel as heavy as Naval Commander but he doesn’t feel cheap. I genuinely think this one might be a good one.

Batteries for the head and I presume cannon as I haven’t got to it yet are:

AG0/SR521SW/379/LR251

I cannot remember if these are the same as the ones for Naval Commander but you need two for the head

 

The tank cannon needs two LR44/AG13

Will Fans Hobby tackle the daunting challenge of making Armada Sideswipe look like a remotely acceptable toy?

 

Genuinely think when they finish with the G1 headmasters they’ll fill the gap with the smaller UT characters like Cybertron Override and Armada Hot Shot.

I’m holding Meg Tyranno in my hand and I still cannot believe he’s real. My first two transformer figures finally getting the MP treatment they so desperately needed. I’d still buy official ones if they get made but these are plenty for now.

This is spectacular..well done Fans Hobby!

ONLY complaint I have is there’s no place for Leader-1 to powerlinx on the tank turret for full blast mode. Surely they could have added one of the Mini-Con hardpoints on top of the part that folds out to allow him to sit in the seat on the turret.

I like that he's a bit sleek looking, with the tread shoulder pads and tank turret holding a lot of his vehicle mode bulk compared to Fans Hobby usually chunky 'n' beefy style.

Nothing wrong with the big bad being lean and mean.

 

A lot easier than I anticipated, and not as complicated as Naval Commander. Simple transformation like the core robot. No scary forcing parts past each other or anything like that.

Spot on man he’s ace. He’s got enough beef to fit Armada Megatron but compared to the old toy it’s night and day as you’d expect.

 

God I not only have to wait for this guy to ship, but I also have to wait for after I come back home since school's starting up soon unless it gets here in a day.

It's just, pain.

Wow that's rad! Mine has shipped from ShowZ but has not moved for 3 days, I'm afraid it won't be there until the CNY is over... oh well
