This. I had a studio series mixmaster come missing the little drum piece for devastator’s head. They sent me a TR broadside instead tho of all things.

Checked all 3 citi trends stores in San Antonio. No metroplex. Just Cyberverse and botbots when it came to transformers.

 

FYI the Ross TFW2005 forums are reporting a different group of SDCC exclusive transformers at their Citi Trends. Someone found the AOE dinobots set and a throne of the primes.

 

I remember when a couple of people did that at one time and they all got Throne of the Primes sets

 

found throne of primes, sdcc dinobots, and an ER optimus prime at the Cititrends in Irving yesterday (left the dinobots set). No metroplex there or at the one in Lewisville.

 

I also found the Beast Hunters Shockwave's Lab SDCC set.

 

Hit up several Citi trends today.

Houston
downtown Griggs - $7 s5 botbots 8p
Bellfort/MLK - $10 s5 botbots, $80 sdcc aoe dinobots, $20 er screamer, bought the $40 shockwave lab.
Rowlett - $7 botbots 8p

Decided on a lark to drive to Texas city
$7 botbots 8p, $30 er prime.
Scored the $100 Metroplex and $50 throne!!!

FYI, the aoe set not in main toy section but in table Midway down main walkway.

 

If anyone finds an extra metroplex I don’t mind paying for y’all to ship it down  

 

Metroplex walked out the door before I got there. But I did get a Throne set. Apparently these places really are only getting one figure per store.

 

Citi Trends where I found Metroplex and Thrones; the lady said they've had it since the week before Christmas.

 

I hope my citi trends store in PA has some of this sdcc stuff. Won't be able to check until Saturday or Sunday. But if anyone finds an extra Metroplex or Throne I'll pay for cost+shipping+a bit more for your effort. (D3VC0N asked first, but if a second person finds one they don't want dm me)

 

Just a reminder, $400 is a phenomenal price for Metroplex. He's routinely going for $600-$650+. Finding one for $100 is a miracle.

 

Meant to mention, I also found the Quintesson Judge ($20), Cromar ($13), and various Marvel Legends for $13 each at Citi.

 

Citi trends in bellfort ave didnt have a Metroplex but they did have a 2014 sdcc dinobots set some bot bots and er starscream

 

Drove to the one in Austin. A few random earthrise deluxe. I took the throne of the primes. AOE dinobot set at the counter.

 

Almeda citi trends didnt have anything good

 

Only dinobots at the temple location. And that is where I will draw the line for now. Heading home.

 

Ironically I almost walked into a citi trend last week but said nah. I only see clothes from the door.

We probably passed each other. I spoke to the guy at the front counter of the Walzem store and he told me he had sold a big Transformers the day before (Wednesday). He didn’t know which one.
