Do you make video reviews? I swear as I was reading this post, I had a video review of this in the back ground and the moment I read "someone overtightened the screw", the reviewer said the same thing. The back ground of the reviewer and the crack also match your photos. If it's indeed you, what an absolute coincidence haha

I have still not gotten around to Transforming my SW, but I’ve been looking through the thread for any potential problems and I only see a couple. My tail fins look good and I didn’t notice and cracks anywhere with a quick inspection. I’ll keep an eye on that back leg assembly and maybe loosen the screw a bit before going through with the TF.

Can someone refresh my memory on what it is, the material, you put in the cockpits of these guys to give them the cel-shaded effect, thanks?

I would add a word of caution about using this type of foam long-term with your toys. I am also a CD collector and some of the first CDs that were released in the early 80s used similar foam to hold CDs in place in what were known as "fatboy" cases that held double disc sets. Over time, the foam would begin to break down and sometimes melt into a sticky glue-like mess. Of course, this happened over many years and they may very well use different ingredients to make today's foam, but still worth noting.

Would not a simple white piece of card stock work just as well if cut to the correct shape and flexed in there?

Why simplify something when it can be done overly complicated!

I used some cotton temporarily for one of my KO's cockpits but I find it WAY too bright. I would suggest a light grey to anyone who isn't looking for a super-bright cockpit.

How you get the faux cockpit open? I’ve been trying to insert something to make it solid yellow and I can’t figure it out. Don’t want to break them. TIA!

The false cockpit doesn't really open up, but it is open if you stop mid transformation before you put the actual cockpit behind it if that's what you're looking for.

I mean, the purple looks beautiful on this figure. Not seeing any problem with it. Finally got the seekers done. Now to see if I can still have time to get the coronation kit. Even tighter joints than TC. Wow

Deadline is end of February, so you'll be fine! I'm probably screwed though as mine is still on the way to Norway, then I have to get flaps back to Japan! :(

He arrived in 2 days. I know I’m closer to him. But he usually takes about 9 days. So don’t give up. Express mail that if your budget allows (your box pieces that is)

No you'll need a 'man in Japan' to facilitate. There's been some offers on here.

I wish I knew "a man in Japan" who could help me out, because I really want that coronation set. :(

I saw someone offering help for that a couple of pages back, but I don't remember the nickname.
